Rainbo Paita wins back Finschhafen Open to boost Pangu numbers

Finschhafen MP and National Planning Minister, Hon. Rainbo Paita, has retained his Finschhafen Open seat in Morobe with a landslide win over People's National Congress archrival Theodore Zurenuoc.
Pangu Pati MP Paita polled a massive 23, 504 votes, well past the absolute majority of 16, 121, to finish miles ahead of PNC's Zurenuoc with a mere 4157 votes.
His win pushed up Pangu to nine (9) MPs and leading in 26 other seats.
Prime Minister Hon. James Marape picked up Paita in Finschhafen today and flew to Wewak where Pangu, Coalition partners and Independent candidates are camping to form Government.
Paita addressed the media at a press conference in Wewak with PM Marape, East Sepik Governor and National Alliance strongman Hon. Allan Bird and Komo-Hulia MP Daniel Tindipu.
