Excellent explanation. How could it be connected if I want it to work when I turn off the ignition switch, regardless of whether the door is open or closed?
I would imagine it would be the same as shown, but instead of the negative end of the buzzer going to the front part of the interior light wiring, it would go into the ignition wiring at the off switch
Wire the negative wire of the buzzer to a circuit that only comes on when the keys are in and turned a click - such a the cigarette lighter circuit. Then it's synchronized with your keys. (Positive wire is connected to the headlight circuit, and only powers the buzzer if the headlights are on and keys turned off).
Good idea to wire to tail light rather than headlight, as it will turn on with parkers
Great explanation, thanks a lot
Thank you
Good work
What could be the problem if there is a beeping sound when the headlight is switched on? That is even if the doors are close and/or the car is running

All good until you have a negatively switched vehicle such as a Toyota hilux
Probably same thing with an old Tercel 😳
Very simple to accommodate.
