Later he tries his best to stay calm and keep Pomni from freaking out. When she gets possessed he quickly pulls her out and gets her back to normal before ditching the gun and making sure she's okay above all else. And then his advice later about making sure to appreciate those around you and his encouragement to Pomni when they're about to go shows just how wise he really is under the crazy.
From the moment where Pomni recovers from her possession to them walking down the hall together is my favorite part of the series now. Every episode gives me a new one and a new favorite song, too.
It tickles me that Caine made THIS adventure specifically for Zooble. Wtf is Zooble into, or was Caine actually really trying to impress Zooble? We'll never know.
1:40 honestly such a badass moment, we see in episode 1 that his hands detach and fly back to him, and now here he's utilizing that to save Pomni as well as with his eye to find the exit
I wrote a comfort fic for these two because I want them to have happiness. I love the father daughter relationship they have here. ❤💜 This is also the first time we've seen Pomni cry. It reminded me of Spirited Away. Sometimes, a moment to relax is all it takes to make everything hit like a ton of bricks.
