Not sure what advantage you have to using sim card. I have joying head unit and I set up my pixel as a hotspot to use Maps and Itunes, Upgraded to iphone and head unit won't use my hotspot but I can use carplay which mirrors my phone pretty much. I never tried carplay with my pixel but with Iphone you can send receive text and make/receive calls.
I wanted a 2gb data plan for 10 but they gave me the phone plan with 1gb data for 10 but I just upgraded it to the 15 dollar one I believe. It's better probably anyway I couldn't make an online account without receiving a text to the number.
@@patrickmurphy8619 When I try to see if my Joying IMEI number is compatible, it says it is not. Just wondering how you got a SIM card(doesn't T-mobile ask you this when you go in and talk to them?) and then how you set it up to work.
@@robtoland5849 I told them it was my head unit but I basically said it's a tablet which is what it really is. I went into a store and they didn't ask me for the IMEI.

Sure and you can use Android auto from phone, but my phone has Verizon service and head unit T-Mobile that way something always works
What plan are you using with T-Mobile?

@@patrickmurphy8619 I'll give that a shot! Thank you!
@@robtoland5849 All I did was put the SIM card in and automatically set itself up with the APN and everything It all just worked.
