I can’t properly claim West African BUT as a Jamaican Brit, my mum traced our roots to West Africa, most likely Senegal/Gambia so Imma still claim in my bones lol. I’m SO SO glad to have my boys back. This might overtake Blue Hour and put me firmly back in my favourite era of Can’t You See Me/Puma. The excellence of vocals, production, melody, SPICE! Perhaps this signals the re-emergence of boy group music I can get behind!
