I saw a very interesting tweet about the concept of the songs and how they one by one represent the five stages of grief after a break up: opening sequence: denial good boy gone bad: anger trust fund baby: bargaining lonely boy: depression thursday child has far to go: acceptance once you check the lyrics it's truly mind-blowing how well it fits, their work has always been very cohesive but this one was just WOW
definitely a no skip album but opening sequence was so good. Gives me HEAVY chase atlantic especially with the chorus which is probably why I liked it so much

Taehyun practiced so much to do the humming in the Opening Sequence to sound like it was autotune, but it really isn't autotuned. You can watch it in their vlogs, and it sounds exactly the same. Maybe there was a bit of compression and echo but not like an autotune or voice effect. Many people often comment about their voice sounding the same or autotuned, but on the behind-the-scenes, I came to realize that they sound the same because they do each other's harmonies.
All of the tracks are so good and very different to each other but my favorite would probably “Lonely Boy” specially “Trust Fund Baby” cause of the vocals and harmonies. i may be new to txt but it would be fun to watch a guide and get to know this group with you fifi 😊

As a music lover, TXT discography really gave me different genres and how amazing how they can manage to give us the feel and the vibe of the song without understanding the lyrics and the vocal range is so wide If you noticed, each album tells story, this one tells us about Break-up from Track 1 to Track 5, from denial to acceptance. I suggest you listen the whole discography in order. It's a rollercoaster ride. For this album, my fave would be Lonely Boy as well. I'm just obsessed with the switch, strumming and the vocals. And quick note, they are heavily involved in the production of their songs, they started participating during 2nd album. I can assure you as a music lover, you won't regret stanning them. hiii they probably do auto tune a bit or maybe they don't but taehyun also mentioned that he sang it with the auto-tune style(?) on purpose if tht make sense. but i do agree with your opinion on that part tho
def agree on the auto tune. idk if it’s auto tune, or just the layering of their voices. it just takes out the emotions of the voices for me. idk who’s in charge of the vocal production but they should be banned from the studio, i’m sorry for being harsh but it’s lowkey been bothering me😭. like their music is decent but i dislike the vocal production heavily. plus some of the members have really breathy voices and it really doesn’t suit their vocal colors.
It was vocal editing. I haven’t heard their most recent b sides but I’ve heard their old b sides and all their title tracks. The vocal editing is a common occurrence with the songs of theirs I have heard and when it comes to HYBE groups in general. I also use “autotune” as a catch-all term for any kind of vocal filters as it’s easier for people to understand. It’s a stylistic choice that I’m just not very fond of when overused.
