I think the best part of following hikers on either the Appalachian Trail and the PCT is the kindness of strangers always willing to help with food, transportation, or lodging. Heartwarming.

As amazed as I am at hard Mojo hikes, Forklift may be an even harder hiker than she is....and that saying something. Her tramily finished a couple weeks ago in 157 days(!) but she took weeks off to be with family and she caught you? Wow. Good to see and hear the wonderful time you had on trail. Getting so close
I enjoyed the sounds of the lapping water. The rain... did you stay dry in the Durston? The Colorado Trail was so wet this year and I did experience a wet tent. No fun at all.
Beautiful and serene views. Noticed Bertie put on long pants. Is the weather cool? Should be mighty fine sleeping in the tent with the sound of the rain. Hike On and be safe!!
Maine is truly providing you quite a variety of experiences on your home stretch to Katahdin: mountain climbing one day, and pond hopping the next. Be honest, MoJo, when you say the twin girls "insisted" that you have some chocolate peanut butter cheesecake, how much "insisting" or convincing did it take before you agreed to partake? 😉
O nice I also follow forklift as well. She's very sweet as well. Tho she's way behind on her videos. But no big deal. I absolutely support woman that do the A.T way more than men. Because of everything that woman have to put up with in general. And when you all get down and out I love sending comments that are Inspirational. I do this for everyone. But more for woman. Because woman are emotional creatures by habit. And I never want to see anyone fail. But that just me.
I think you're pretty awesome Molly & so do the other women. I'm following you because you're female & I love cheering a woman on, this is not a fair society. And your dinner & coming breakfast is awesome too! It's reassuring to know that someone is there, looking out for you. Doing trail magic along the Trail near Harpers Ferry is a solid yes for next year. Thru-hiking is so inspiring, what an endeavor!!
He was in the video (from around 2 min 30 seconds and on) hiking in front of Mojo. Looks like he eventually rolled the legs of his pants down all the way and had put a long sleeve layer (green) on top of the purple top he was wearing, then later in the video he had taken the long sleeve layer off and was seen in his short sleeve purple shirt, with his pants legs still rolled down all the way.

The wide, edged boardwalk was so nice and then - the SINGLE, literal board - walk! Still better than treking through the mud though.

The deep, choppy and cold lake and ending with the cold rain hitting your tent was impressive and intimidating.
