Achala Sachdev was one of the beautiful, gorgeous, loveable, versatile and talented actress of Hindi film industry. She has worked with Balraj Sahni, Shashi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Dev Anand, Raj Kumar, Rajendra Kumar, Sunil Dutt and many more. She was great actress and very professional also.
A very lovely trivia on the talented actor Achala Sachdeva. She had a very successful career in bollywood as she had a professional life for almost 7 decades, although most of her roles were of sister, mother, grand mother she did justicevto each role of hers & left her mark on the audience. The leading lady role was evasive fod her, but tge song from the movie WAQT is todsy still fresh as ever ❤ .
Her personal life was not smooth and felt sad that in her last years she was all alone by herself in Pune.
Irony : The woman who played mother, sister & grandmother on screen...did not have anyone besides her in her last days whom she could call her own.😢

Good episode. I didn't realise she was the daadi in K3G as she looks SO different from her earlier films. The way her life ended was sad though.

She played Dev Anand’s mother in Hare Rama Hare Krishna though in her debut film she played his younger sister !

बहुत दुख और अफ़सोस है ये जान कर कि इतनी महान कलाकार अचला जी अपने आखिरी सफ़र में बिल्कुल तन्हां थीं। ये किस तरह का फ़िल्म परिवार है जहां लोग अपनो को ऐसे हाल में बिल्कुल अकेला छोड़ देते हैं। ऐसे बहुत और भी कलाकार होंगे जिन्हें सहारे की ज़रूरत हो सकती है।
