How I Became an ALT Teaching in Japan 🇸🇬→🇯🇵 (Full Timeline - It Took ~6 Months)

I remember being very anxious throughout the whole process of applying to be an ALT and the time between each step felt like eternity. This is my experience and I hope this will be helpful for people who are interested in becoming an ALT.
Timeline
4th October 2022: Applied online
5th October 2022: Passed initial screening
13th October 2022: Orientation and preliminary interview
14th October 2022: Passed orientation and preliminary interview
31st October 2022: 1-on-1 interview
2nd November 2022: Offered position as an ALT
4th January 2023: Received Guarantee of Employment
13th February 2023: Got my VISA
20th February 2023: Confirmation of date to fly in to Japan
18th - 22nd March 2023: Training
28th March 2023: Went to the city hall and set up a bank account
3rd - 5th April 2023: Training
6th April 2023: Introduction to schools
10th April 2023: First day of work
