Really helpful for my exams. This is the one biology topic that I never managed to understand but I really think I have a much better grasp of it after this. Thanks so much!
Hello. This is a great video. I am hoping to become a master gardener and this will help with my studies. Thank you for the time and effort in producing the video.
Awesome video. I don't even need this for a course. I was sitting in a Lit course today and looked outside thinking "how the hell do flowers work?" Thanks for this!
@largejuicer8730 Seedless watermelons are fruit. They have seeds - its just that they're smaller, soft, white, and flexible. Being a hybrid fruit, like hybrid animals, their seeds cannot reproduce (source: myrecipes, 2019)
I wanted something clear, concise and informative, while not being irritating to eyes or ears; or cause my daughter to fall off her chair laughing. Although it's wonderful to laugh and the first few demos I chose made us do that, thank you for this, it's a really good learning demo.
this is a very good video for studying the parts of he flower and so on.. hope you will add more videos about plants, matter, energy and solar system. :-) very informative..thanks...thumbs up!
Love your videos! I'm preparing my daughter's team for a science olympiad and wondered if you have these slides as digital files you would share? Thank you for putting these together, you do such a good job of explaining these concepts.
have a test this friday on this topic and your video was very informative, in fact you give the exact same info on this topic as my teacher, i mean exact but anyways thnx again. It really helped.
+mrfox218 - This instructional video, as all these students have proclaimed, is AWESOME. I am a new high school teacher for a "Farm to Fork" class and the curriculum continues to evolve. We are learning how to grow, cook and later have our own little mini-farmer's market on campus for students and staff alike.I have searched high and low for good video content to include along with the text book material, so that the students have additional pathways to learning what can be, difficult concepts. Most of the time, it's either way too complex, too childish, or the voiceover is difficult to understand (or complete trash). If you have other videos, I would appreciate getting a link to them!
Seriously, that is great to hear. Remember, you got the A. I didn't take the test for you. You put in the extra work and you successfully applied it. I only cleared up some confusion. I'm super glad I could help you out!
I have a question.see when the bee carries the pollen from a flower does she lands on the stigma of the same flower and lands there ?is it self pollination?
+Ilyas Dr The bee may not necessarily land on the stigma . Usually if the bee is crawling around the petals looking for nectar , the bee can rub up against the pistil causing pollination. Flowers have evolved to place the nectar near the bottom of the pistil to increase the chance of the bee rubbing up against it. If the pollen comes from the same flower, then yes it is self pollination. If its a different flower of the same species then its cross pollination.
As a hobby botanist I found this video more educational than all the other educational sites and videos, thank you!!
