This is the official music video of Martians Go Home by a Davao-based trio Emotional Elevators, formerly known as 13th Floor Elevators (plagiarized name), probably the most underrated unsigned band in Davao, Philippines. Martians Go Home went number one in radio stations for several weeks, in Cebu, Davao, and Manila, including NU-107. In the Raw, Not Radio, and Ethnic Stock, from 1998 to 2002.
This song was written, recorded, mixed, and mastered in 1998. Remixed and remastered in 2014.
Martians Go Home was written by Nonoy Avellanosa and Climaco Ipanag. It was the band's first single from their debut EP, Bloodstream of the Planet. Music by Nonoy Avellanosa (on voice and bass), Ryan Avellanosa (drums), and Climaco Ipanag (on backing voice and guitars).
The band decided to publish the music video after 16 years buried underground. We're digging it and delivering it to the Filipino masses.
Martians Go Home is a song about depression and alienation.

Martians Go Home Lyrics:
Umuulan ng mga bituin
Mga mata'y naglalasing
Mga lumipas na ligaya
Sa karagatan ng lupain
Mga planeta ng umaga
Mga liwanag sa isipan
Sa dambuhalang kalawakan
Mga sigaw ng katahimikan
Ayoko nang magising
Ako'y takot sa dilim
Mabuti pang magpahangin
At magpaka lasing
Mga planeta ng umaga
Nawawala na sa isipan
Bumabalik sa kalawakan
Sumisigaw ng katahimikan
Dialogue at prologue and end are voices by Kevin Bacon and Gary Sinise taken from the movie Apollo 13.
