It was Christmas Eve at my Dad's and we were there to give gifts. My husband, then boyfriend, gave me a huge box. Every time I unwrapped and opened the box, there was another smaller one inside. Each had a small piece of paper with a word on it. When I got down to the final box, I found a stuffed cow holding a gorgeous 1ct solitaire ring. I was told to unscramble the words. They read, "I love you. Will you marry me?" I said yes, of course. The sweetest thing was when my Grandma saw it. She laughed and through happy tears said, "Well, I didn't get a ring for Christmas." She was kidding but my new fiancé decided that he wasn't going to let that go so after giving gifts, we went and found a lovely little diamond heart ring for her. She loved it and wore it until she passed away. She did live long enough to be at our wedding. Making memories is important. It gives you something to hold onto after loved ones are gone. My Wife is very dark chocolate, and she chose me on the dating site 3 years ago. That's how we met. She chased me like a crazy person. Dark skinned women LOVE light skinned guys. Light skinned women LOVE dark skinned brothers.
