Hey all, it's been awhile since I've made one of these looking at various places around the world. I'll be sure to do some more of these. Also on that, if there's a disappearance that you want me to look at or an area you'd like me to cover then do let me know.
Stay safe all and have a great weekend

@@illuminatedsoles331 Yeah, pass it onto Paulides so he can trademark the idea and claim it as his own, convince all his followers it was his idea and sue you for using it even though you were the one that came up with it? Paulides has a huge following but he doesn't use it correctly.
He should not tell everyone they can't use his work. It's not all his work when he finds his data just like everyone else does. He reads newspaper articles, does Google searches, etc. Just like everyone else.
He also leaves out extremely important information. Then to have the audacity to tell everyone they need to credit him for his "work". He shouldn't be credited and bank on someone else demise. It should be "hey look at some stuff I noticed that some people missed", and it be an open discussion to find closure for these family's.

It is not uncommon for trails in State and national parks in the US and Canada to be rendered unusable by the weather. Have seen them, flooded out, covered in unsafe ice slicks, and even destroyed by rockslides. So it wouldn't be that odd if the map was off, most experienced hikers know that trails other than the main thoroughfares are usually poorly maintained.

The 3rd case of Tyler Wright is a prime example of people underestimating Nature. Too often, people become infatuated with the scenic beauty to realize that Nature is also very unforgiving. A mistake out in the wilderness can be and usually are fatal even for those who are well equipped and Tyler Wright was far from that. A solo hike means you are on your own and any emergency situation you get into means you have no one but yourself to get out of it. No camping equipment, no compass, etc. - he was playing Russian roulette and he lost.

This is crazy....I'm subscribed but only just got a notification today of your latest video, from 8 days ago, and it's the first notification in weeks. In fact I hadn't realised that I hadn't seen any of your videos for ages until now. I have no idea what YT is doing
On another note, I live not far from Squamish, in BC and we've been there a few times. My daughter's have done hikes with friends there. Most of the areas in BC (the heavily wooded areas) are pretty easy to get lost in if you aren't careful. And it's not the smartest move to go on a hike here without a tent, if you're planning on being out overnight, because the weather can do a 180° turn in a few hours. Also, going out without telling anyone where you are headed, how long you plan to be out and when you expect to be back is the absolute nadir of stupidity. Also, it's quite common for Squamish to be subject to some crazy windstorms.....Tyler could well have been blown off his trail.

What I can say is I've been up to Indian arm several times and that area is easy to get lost in if your not prepared. Heavily forrested with lots of logging roads and trails. As for wildlife lots of black bear and mountain lions back there.

The passport and wallet seems to be an odd thing to discard…..not an item that would weaken the body any faster. The whole story starting with the wife’s chain of events just seems off to me. Being a smart couple (other than driving into the wilderness without planning and provisions) they could have burned a spare tire in the light of day to draw attention or a couple other things comes to mind. Leaving the car would be the last thing to try…..foul play of some kind would be my guess. But I have been wrong before. 😏 “writing a book…..getting a feel for the Judean countryside….” Something about that.

Always take your phone in a plastic bag when out in the wilderness, even if it's off and in your bag. Not only might you find some cell signal you didn't expect, it also reflects the sun so you can signal, and worst case you can always record a goodbye message explaining what happened. Absolute worst case it isn't going to just degrade in a few months, and animals won't tear it into little pieces or likely drag it off, it will mark where you were at one point and might lead to the recovery of your body.

I spent time in Israel and I slept in the Bedouin tents for 5 days. The area he disappeared in was a busy place in 2016. Idk about the 60’s when israel was still getting established. But the IDF are probably the most organized and one of the best militaries in the world. In that area there are Canaan dogs. And they hunt in packs. So they would have all used their pack like wolves and could had killed him. But the psychics story makes sense. As a doctor I truly feel he would make marks on how many days he was there. My dads a doctor and they are very smart about keeping records of all kinds. I think it’s likely he’s still in an cave or dogs got him.

    @j.griffin ปีที่แล้ว +1

James Pike was a very controversial man so I will just say that you don’t seem to have studied very much about what led up to this.
    It’s a very sad story,
    really.
There’s a pretty fair amount that’s been written about it.
I know that you are focused on the disappearance event itself but some of the background you were giving just wasn’t very accurate and was somewhat misleading.
    Bishop Pike didn’t step down-
He was barred from all priestly functions (including preaching) in the Episcopal Church.
The Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions was more of a liberal think tank not a scientific research center.
    Pike was very active politically-
President Eisenhower actually backed him up when he confronted Senator Joseph McCarthy and Pike was also a friend and supporter of
    Martin Luther King,Jr.
    On the other hand-
after he left his second wife,
he was living openly with his secretary girlfriend until she committed suicide.
He was the minister at her funeral.
    After his son committed suicide,
he went in desperate directions and ended up having a séance with a famous medium on public television.
He had his own TV show on the ABC network in America so it was a pretty big deal at the time.
    Really,
to only say he was controversial is really an understatement.
    Four months before he died,
James Pike and his third wife created the Foundation for Religious Transition (renamed the Bishop Pike Foundation after his death), formalizing a ministry to aid people who
"found themselves on the edge of institutional Christianity."
    When they went to Israel,
    they were completely unprepared
    to face that wilderness.
    They had two Cokes,
no water,no guide and just a rental car map from the airport.
They got stuck and had to walk.
He was a recovering alcoholic and a chain smoker and they had worked for a while trying to get the car unstuck and he was already in bad shape.
When he took off after she was gone,
he left his underpants and other objects behind as a kind of trail as he wandered-
I don’t think that he left his actual pants.
He ended up stumbling and fell down a cliffside some 60 feet so that had a lot do with his injuries and why he wasn’t easily found.
That wasn’t what most people call “desert”-
    one of its names is
    Metsoke Dragot
    (מצוקי דרגות)
    which translates to
    “steep cliffs”.
I do not condemn the man but he really left a lot of pain and tragedy in his wake.
He was very popular and sensationalistic but he was reckless and headstrong.
It’s a dangerous thing to go cruising off into the wilderness with those kinds of attitudes….
    spiritually or physically.

What does any of that have to do with his disappearance? Sounds Like you're trying to demean a man who just wanted to point out the hypocrisy and dangers of Christianity to me.

Then you apparently did not read it all.
      He didn’t “disappear”-
he died at the bottom of a cliffside and was found 6 days later.
The whole bottom half of the comment goes into why and how this happened-
most of which was not adequately covered or mentioned in this video.
      It was not that mysterious-
He was reckless and headstrong in his personal and professional life and when he took those attitudes into the wilderness it killed him.
The wilderness does not “care”about our beliefs-
      not yours,mine OR his.
      However,
it WILL respond to our attitudes.

@jetpoweredgriffin yes I know this genius. His case was originally a disappearence and that's what this video is profiling and talking about and what the channel specializes in. Many cases where the body has been found or the person was found alive are still labeled as disappearances. This is incredibly common.
