Thanks for sharing useful information. We are team of 6 women in mid 30’s planning to do the adventure for EBC. I have couple of questions. 1. We are active girls but not super fit, is it very straining at higher altitude? 2. Do you recommend any prep before we go for the adventure? We are planning to go on a hike in Colorado. But do you recommend any other?
You made a longer and more interesting trek than just visit EBC and back. So this note does not (so much) apply to you. But those who only hike to EBC and back NEED NOT hike the same trail through Tengboche twice, although practically all groups do that, having no imagination. There is a splendid trail which goes via Mong La - Phortse - Pangpoche, opposite side of the valley as seen from Tengboche monastery. Just come down via Tengboche, not walk the same trail twice as the Phortse high trail has more amazing views, lots of wildlife and practically no other trekkers.
What is the procedure for purchasing an air ticket to and from Lukla Airport in Nepal? Do you need to book in advance, or can you buy a ticket when you reach the airport? Thanks.
You are so brave !!! Last week I was looking for tours that cover this trek !!!! Then I found your video. Maybe it is a confirmation sign !
Thank you! It definitely helped me conquer any last limiting beliefs I had on how freaking capable I am! 😂❤ ooh yes, seems it is your sign 😉🙌🏼
Those porters are super human.... Literally so much respect and admiration for them...
They are truly super humans!! SO MUCH respect!! yes!!
Thank you for this video!! Doing the hike in 2 weeks, love your tips and loved hearing your personal reflections from this experience✨
Thank you! Happy hiking! I hope you have an amazing journey.
Great video! Thanks! About food, did u find it was safe to eat eggs?
Thank you! Yes - we ate eggs almost every day for breakfast as our biggest source of protein, but the tea house by Everest didn’t
