You'll always have to start a Predator with the choke on, even when it's warm. When your belt breaks in,(after you put it on right) your sled will probably stop walking when it's idling. Nice build btw.

I know about the clutch haven't gotten around to it. But good to know on the choke I've heard that changing spark plug to a higher or lower will help that but haven't tried that.

Belts on wrong. 🤓The belt has an angled side and a flat up and down side. Angled side goes on the outside, then the belt won't engage at idle and drive away.
    Great build 🏆👍

Looks like your clutch might need shortened. it does not have enough slack to start with out pulling you. It should have to have some rpms to engage.

Yeah I was going to do that or move it out so it’s in-line better I’ve been told both ways.

I put a predator motor on a roto tiller. I had troubles with it dying for no reason when tilling in rough ground. It would always start back up after a minute or two. While I never "officially" figured it out I always felt like it was being caused by the low oil shut down from the tiller bouncing in rough ground. Especially when breaking new sod. The video made it look like a smooth ride but I've got to assume it was rougher than it looked going through those fields with that. Regardless, looks like fun! Good job!

Yeah I took the breathing tube off the charcoal filter at the bottom of the engine and it seems to run better without stalling now.

Boys if the motor needs more fuel and it dies it's like a outboard fishing motor I built a boat from scratch and I hit the water with it as I thought it was ready it would idle all day long but when you would throttle it up it would scream then die, looked at the primer bulb was flat as a pancake, better primer bulb worked fine, remember you get what you pay for

Adjust that clutch setup.. that's not supposed to be like that at all lol and if you lock the handle bars from going down you can tilt the machine to steer way easier.

самоход довольно опасно с вариатором, но буксировщик прикольный, респект.

if you look at the comet clutch drive the belt it needs to be turned around the belt has a flat side and the other side is tapered. The flat side of the belt needs to be toward the motor and you will be able to idle without it wanting to go.

If you extend the wires to retch to the Handel bars move the starter switch to the Handel bars it make it easy to start for the choke fine a old mower take the throttle cable assembly and use it for your choke

To firm up the steering, mount the bars directly to the folding part. You're loosing input due to flex. Looks great

Having to stand right at the front of the sled causes it to push way too much snow.

Check which way your belt sits. It shouldn't move at idle

Hey I believe your fuel lines are cheap lines and can't take the suction the motor needs better fuel lines yours are collapsing

So the lines on my brand new motor are not rated for the motor?

No it needs the choke to start even when it is 50 degrees outside. I'm told that is normal I don't think it is normal.
