I actually didn’t think about any sort of rollover jig / spit, but I feel like that would’ve required much more stripping of the rear of the car than I want or intend to do. I also didn’t anticipate having to do any welding on the main rails! The bulkhead comes off easily enough with the engine in place. I have twin SU HS2s fitted and I needed to remove the rear carb to allow the bulkhead to move forward enough to get the lip of the floors clear of the rear body section. I imagine if you have the the standard single manifold it could just stay in place. Otherwise I only had to strip out stuff that attaches to the bulkhead in some way. It’s a two person job to lift it over the engine and gearbox, easy enough to do though.
Another question, how easy is it to take off the bulkhead with the engine in place?
