Over the summer I told my “friend” that I had depression and that I tried to kms. She basically said I didn’t matter and then talked about *her* problems as if she was the only one who mattered. When school started she spread a rumor to her friends that I faked suicide and I didn’t know about this rumor until MAY when another friend told me! My “friend” was just really toxic, clingy, self centered, and draining. I’m so happy we’re not friends anymore

My “friend” told me all the time I was the best friend she has ever had. We saw each other everyday ( like in school) we had the same classes and we always partnered up in class. Then I became homeschooled this year because I have IBS. About 2 months of me being homeschooled she told me she didn’t want to be my friend because I wasn’t cool enough and that I was ugly. Sh never did anything for me and I always invited her to come do fun things with me ( like go to trampoline parks and stuff) she even got me a BFF necklace. It’s a coincidence that 3 hours before she told me this the necklace broke. Can’t wait to tell her I am going back to public school next year...... she better not even try to be my friend after that.

I told my used to be online best friend of 4 years that something that I trusted ONLY him to know and see and he went and showed the rest of our online friend group. I don’t care about the fact that he told, cause I told that in confidence, but it was cause it was him who told. When I was in middle school I came out to my friends as asexual. Their response "Oh I'm also asexual". Middle school me thought oh whatever that's kinda coincidental. I tell them about my social anxiety and attention deficit disorder. Response "Yeah we have that to". Now I'm feeling hurt and am deciding to leave the group. I tell them about a scary experience where this creepy guy tried to kidnap me. They say "Oh that same guy he did that to me but way worse". They were trying to downplay my pain and get attention from it. Glad I left them. Now according to my best friend one of them as three kids, a husband and is a stay at home mom. The other friend is now working as a therapist. I guess they have changed but I still don't wanna get to know the new them.
I used to have a "best friend" who dragged me into a very unhealthy lifestyle of partying and drinking when I was only 13 (she way 3 years older than me). I was very young, insecure and impressionable and thought it was "cool" to do all these things and it would give me an escape from reality. That "best friend" and I were very close for a long time and I helped her (as best as I could) with her mental struggles and also saved her twice. She had a boyfriend that lived in another city and I had met him around 2 times when she brought him to our parties (he was 18 btw). However, at some point she accused me of being in some kind of affair with him which was so irrational because I hardly knew this guy plus he was already an adult and I was *13 years old.* She started insulting and threatening me and suddenly he started texting me (I have no idea where he got my number from, probably from her) as well and both of them were angry at me and blamed me and suddenly I was the scapegoat for their relationship troubles. She even threatened to beat me up and I 100% believed she'd do that as she'd been arrested for violence before.
Needless to say, I didn't want to be her friend any longer and wanted to get out of this unhealthy lifestyle and finally live a good life again.
I've got one that involves my ex best friend doing the worst thing she could to me at the time.
I had a childhood friend (let's call her Nova) of 13 years (we met in 2nd grade) who I protected from bullies as she was overweight but couldn't help it and I would stand up for her cause I didn't care about appearances. Nova was my best friend so I'd tell her everything from secrets, surprise party plans, to other stuff and we jokingly say we hate each other and stuff like that. Nova was actually the first person I told I was a lesbian I trusted her enough to not tell my religious family and she didn't.
Anyway back in high school I introduced Nova to a friend I made a few months prior (She'll be Bryn) who a year later became my girlfriend. After graduating they went to the same collage and I went to a different one on the other side of the state. I spent a quarter of my free time with Bryn, a quarter with my old friends (including Bryn and Nova), a quarter with my new friends and a quarter to myself.
Apparently I was spending so much time with Bryn who I rarely got to see and Nova was pissed because I was "stealing" her friend. One night its just me and Nova video chatting on the phone and I show her a ring that I was gonna use to propose to Bryn on our anniversary that was coming up a week later. That apparently was the last straw because hours later Nova started telling Bryn lies. Like accusing me of saying I told Nova to "Go die in the deepist pit of Hell!" and so many other things (Some of Bryn's friends told me what the lies were and some are dark. Like horror movie dark. Others are straight out of a sad romantic drama.) Bryn broke up with me when I went to see her on our 6th year anniversary!
I was more upset that Nova started telling Bryn lies about me only hours after I told her I was gonna propose. To this day I still don't understand why Nova was mad that I was gonna ask Bryn to marry me, why she said I was stealing her friend! The same friend I introduced her to! Nova was straight so it's not like she wanted Bryn for herself.
Bryn found out the truth a few months later (due to the friends that told me about the lies) but we never got back together. I loved her but she lost her chance the moment she thought I could say so many horrible things to my best friend and mean them. Especially since she didn't trust me despite the fact that I came out to my family for her! I chose her over my family yet she wouldn't belive me when I said Nova lied.
I helped my friend get back with her boyfriend, in the end the only thanks i got was rumors being spread around by her. Lol… so glad we're not friends no more

My relationship with my longtime best friend had been slowly dying out for a while, but I was still hanging on because we had been close before and I’d always had trouble making friends (so had she). Then my grandma died suddenly. People I barely knew were texting me to ask if I was okay and if there was anything they could do to help. I told my best friend over text, and she said, “Oh, I’m sorry.” Then nothing. Absolutely nothing. Not a single “are you okay,” “how are you,” or anything, ever. That was the moment I officially gave up trying.

My best friend of six years invited me to a big party she was having, a few days later she told me she was going to cancel it because of stress, which I completely understood even though I really wanted to go to the party, her feelings came first. I later found out from another friend that the party still happened, and she even posted photos KNOWING that I followed her on all her social media. My friend continuously pressures me to make free art for her. For most people who aren’t artists, they can’t understand how annoying it is. Recently I’ve been feeling bummed out/feeling unmotivated about art and she is making it worse. Art takes time and it’s really difficult to draw something that means nothing to you. The longer I’ve been friends with her, the more I kind of want to avoid her. She started off really nice and likable, seemed to be easy to talk to and pleasant to be around. Now she’s always begging for free art, getting mad at me for things that are her fault, overthinks a lot and is extremely boy crazy. My *boyfriend* just smiled at her and she assumed he liked her. Also her crush hugged me and apologized because he felt bad for accidentally hitting me in the head, and she got jealous immediately. I’m hanging onto the friendship in hopes that she’ll come back to her senses but idk if I should put in the energy anymore. My other friend, who’s known her for longer has brought up that she’s changed a lot too, so it’s not just me.
She’s also very, very clingy to me specifically. She also always asks me overly detailed questions, and tbh it weirds me out a bit.

One of my friends had two best friends when she was in 1st-3rd grade (let's call her A). They were all girls. One of her friends (let's call her B) was jealous of the third friend (let's call her C), so B bullied C to scare C away from A. It didn't work, though. Later on, B had a crush on A, but A was straight. B tried to FORCIBLY kiss her, but A refused and fought her off. B then bullied A until she finally moved away from her.

5:40 I had a pretty bad immune system when I was young. Everybody in my class knew this because my parents had to send to me to school anyways. But still, everybody would ask me why I was sick. The only good part about being sick so often was that it taught me not to be germy to people at a young age.

I have a bad history with mental illness and was very depressed to the point where my parents had put me in a home to help me. I was 17 at the time and I'm about to turn 19. Once I was released from the home I was excited to go back to school and see my few close friends again. It was at lunch time that day and my friends and I were talking and I was telling them about my experience when a friend I wasn't really close to because she had been calling me mean names the school year before and because she's known to be very selfish had decided that I was distracting everyone from her. I was in the middle of talking when she slammed down her hand on the table and shouted at me to shut up and said I was just lying for attention. I just ignored her because I was used to her calling me a liar. I went back to explaining when she slammed down her hand again but this time she told me to stop lying and to just kill myself so that we could continue talking about her. I came home crying that afternoon and my mom went to school the next day to talk with the principal.

I have tea to spill about something that happened to me.
So I knew this girl since 3rd grade always together always with each other.. that Untill 6th grade. We had a little friend group and she decided she wanted to take my place. All trough the year she stared off and in drama slowly kicking me out of the picture. She even convinced my friend that I would Life. She would talk about me behind my back and act like she never did anything. I would then find out and my self esteem would go down. She kept saying stuff about how my chest was flat, how I would never beat my other friend in track, how my other friend was better at track, how I was slow and can’t do track, that cheers not a sport, all these negative things.
I went to my doctor 3 weeks into summer break for a check up, walked out with a list of councilors, things that happened, and a diagnosis of depression.

The last story. It's so relatable, same betrayal thing happened to me by my best friend/family friend of 10 years.
So I had this friend, who I'll call Hannah, for privacy reasons. Hannah and I were best friends since we were 3. We were like 2 peas in a pod, always inseparable from each other. When 6th grade rolled around, Hannah and I both moved to different schools, but we were still best friends, like, we would hang out all the time on the weekends, or during our school breaks. However, in grade 8th her schools fees payment was very high, whereas mine was affordable. So her family suggested that she would be moved to my school to avoid further expenses. Since we were each other's family friends, we decided to help them out. I thought it was going to be a brilliant idea, since Hannah and I can spend time with each other in the same school, just like old times. I was completely wrong. So my parents helped Hannah get into my school. And I was initially excited for her. However, as time went on, she wasn't hanging out with me, or including me in her friend group at all (Hannah made her own group of friends as soon as she was enrolled). She was always excluding me, hanging out with the other girls, going to places like malls or parks with them, acting like I never existed, completely avoiding me, and even if she did notice me she would make a fake "innocent" sad face and be like "Sorry🥺" and then continue spending time with her new group of friends. In freshman year, I finally decided this was enough. Because I was thinking about a toxic person, who doesn't even think of me at all anymore. So I confronted her, and just ended my friendship with her, right then and there. Blocked her on social media, because I didn't want such people in my life. I'm 17 now, senior in high school. I've changed schools, and made an amazing group of friends who don't exclude me like Hanna did. Hannah's family and my family don't talk to them anymore. And I'm so thankful I got rid of her. And I'm much happier now than before. 🥰🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤❤

The day of my birthday my friend kept saying that she was gonna come and I was so excited so I waited and waited. She ended up not coming and didn't bother to send a message. When I asked her about it at school the next day she said I never sent her a text when I asked if she was coming. I looked at her and just mentally laughed at how stupid she was. The message literally said read. Turns out she went to the Movie theaters instead. If you didn't wanna go then why let me get my hopes up, she could've said no.

I caught my ex friend throwing away my drawings I gave her when I was in 7th grade and she was laughing as she did it with her asshole "friend" and she tried to lie and act innocent when I told her I caught her throwing them away after she asked me to do a drawing. And a few weeks later the harassing got worse and I had to end the 4 year friendship. As hard as it was, i am happy I have not talked to her in 4 years now.
