#1 Dear Women... Women are to Present themselves and their interests... Men are to Pursue what is presented... that being said... I'm glad Pastor Daniels made it clear that Lady Shameka DID NOT pursue nor press him but, she merely presented and wasn't afraid of rejection because in all honesty Pastor Daniels could've taken the phone number with the intention to never call. My point is Ladies don't be afraid to Present or make your presence felt to the Man you are interested in. There are classy-clear-cut ways to do this without being "Thirsty" nor "Desperate" and let the chips fall where they may. I always tell my clients, when dating pay attention to the person's character when they don't know you are looking. How do they treat people? How do they react when things don't go their way? Etc . Does that line up with God, and does it line up with who you are looking for in a spouse. They were so down to earth and you felt comfortable in/around their energy. Change church is the bomb and Pastor Daniel's is heavily anointed with the word of God!!!! Transforming lives one soul at a time❤

I told y'all I was coming with my notebook for this here episode. Because even though I'm still "young" lol I am aiming to set the life I want for my future and the example I want my child to see. So here are my takeaways and please be patient with me because the might seem a lot but almost everything said in this video soaked deep in my heart.
1. When you first decide to "love the way God intended" it may not work out and this could be God just putting us into practice for the real deal.
2. Sometimes things will stay in the "grey" if you are assertive enough about your require him/her to make a decision on the relationship. Be clear of your expectations in order for the relationship to strive.
3. Carry yourself how you want to be treated and viewed. When Crystal talked about how people always think she's in a relationship just based on how she assert herself, yep that's me.
4. Getting coached throughout the dating process should be a together thing, while counselling should be more so individually. We have to work through our traumas and make sure we ourselves are whole before wanting to give of ourselves to another.
5. Dating is the gathering of data. Get to know him/her, have uncensored conversations, become best friends first because only "best friends can keep vows".
6. Your preferences can be negotiable but your standards should be absolute, they will in turn determine your green flags.
7. This on hits - "if you are not going to meet my relationship needs it is like telling me I can only shop in this store but you will put what I need on the shelves". Like make it make sense lol I mean.
8. You need to know what you want/need for yourself so that you know what to accept from the other.
9. Be super clear on what you feel like you have to have in a relationship to be fulfilled and whether or not that person is demonstrating that. Don't just go falling in love with potential.
10. Do frequent check ins with your partner, having those bimonthly or quarterly deep uncensored conversations helps to see where the relationship has improved and where it needs improvement.
11. "Your needs should automatically be his/her values".
12. Give yourself the permission to know what is your "too long" because only you can determine such.

# 2 Dear Women... I implore you to Pleeezzzz don't gloss over what Lady Shameka said... people tried to make her feel like she needed a separate identity so that she wouldn't "LOSE HERSELF" but, she navigated those waters to come to understand that She took on Pastor Daniels last name not to Hyphenate it but, to Hydrate It (Water/Bring Life to)... that being said in her own words she said "I Love Being a Help meet" "I'm supposed to be His Wife" "I Love what I do!" There are evil, divisive schools of thought that are creeping into a significant about of Women's minds that are causing them to feel like being a Help Meet whose focus is to make the Legacy of the Last Name of her Husband Great (which is now her last name by the way) a bad, oppressive, suppressive, depressive thing. And if there is NO TOXICITY nor ABUSE then women are being 'hoodwink' 'bamboozled' 'dooped' out of marrital bliss, health, joy, and longevity. Lady Shameka dropped some classy gems. In the Bible David said "Surely Goodnes and Mercy shall follow me" ... that sounds like a shadow... Lady Shameka finds no shame in being the "Shadow" of Goodness and Mercy for Pastor Daniels. Thank you Lady Shameka for being transparent on this epidsode. #My2Cents
I love Pastor Dharius and Shameka. They compliment each other very well. I have been attending Change Church since Jan and I have seen the growth in myself.

This was a great episode for me. I'm a divorcee of 15 yrs and single. I was married young and I wish I had done the dating and pre married counseling. Even though I am now 61 yrs I will be doing it for my next marriage. Yes, there will be another husband. God told me that when my ex was still in my home. I'm keeping it Positive Sweetie❤

I got certified as a marriage counselor and decided to counsel singles before they even start dating bc often as singles we don't know ourselves or what we want. Doing so helps us know what we desire in a mate and avoid making some critical errors.
