This part of the game was pretty close to making me bawl my freakin eyes out
This cover is kind of a different style compared to other covers on my channel. I tried to get the most out of the sound of my guitar using a Zoom effects pedal and whatever effects I could find on my DAW. I'm really happy with how it turned out, this song and this game mean a lot to me, and I am glad I could tackle this song. I also saw your requests on my other OMORI videos so I just had to!
For those wondering "WHERE IS 'MY TIME'???" It'll probably have to wait a bit but I didn't want to leave you guys hanging for so long so I figured I'd post this in the meantime! Don't worry thuogh, that one is COMING!

It's like the song is a response to Kel's question..."We were best friends. Didn't that mean something to you?" "IT MEANS EVERYTHING." This verson amplifies the feeling of abandonent
The really sad part to me is that Aubrey feels abandoned, but she has a new group of friends that REALLY care about her and that really shows as you play through the game. Putting Basil's life under the microscope he has it MUCH worse here than Aubrey. Add on top of that how Aubrey treats him very poorly. It's quite sad that she doesn't see how much worse things are for him and how she makes his loneliness even worse by the way she treats him. It honestly makes me kinda cheer for Kel when he calls her on her bullshit right in front of everyone in the church. Aubrey would call Basil names and get people to dog pile on Basil at school, a place he HAS to go to. Aubrey goes to the church voluntarily so if she doesn't like what they say or think about her she can just leave. I do still feel really bad for Aubrey, but her anger doesn't feel justified.

Man this hits different. When I first had the fight with Aubrey the moment this song played, I felt like something wasn't right. That we really shouldn't fight. The whole thing felt messed up and looking at how broken Aubrey looked, really punched me in the gut.
WHEN PEOPLE JUST KEEP GOSSIPING ABOUT HER AROUND HER , TALKING ABOUT HOW MUCH OF A ' DELINQUENT ' SHE WAS , I FELT SO GODDAMN BAD . HER ACTIONS WEREN'T REALLY JUSTIFIED BUT THEY CAME OUT OF ANGER AND HURT AND BEING JUDGED SO MUCH FOR TRYING TO PROCESS SOME HEAVY TRAUMA . THE FIGHT STICKS WITH ME A LOT .

This one song from Omori feels really special to me. It really sold the impact of the events surrounding it and it represents how Omori turned from "that fun and cool RPG my friend recommended to me when it came out" into "wow this games hits right into my soul oh my god what" to me at that point in the game.
Seeing this video come up in my subscriptions really made me emotional, and I want to thank you for having made such an amazing cover !

Aubrey is by far my favorite character in Omori, to see such a normally sweet character in the beginning of the game

I gotta agree with this, especially the shots of the piano keys, music sheet, and a cross, since those are relevant to the story. The baseball too, to a lesser extent. ^_^
What makes Spotify better than TH-cam? To me it just seems tedious that you have to shuffle instead of play whatever song you want. So why bother?

this . my god , this . i love how this song is able to perfectly capture how aubrey has to be feeling in this moment . her friends keep barging into her live . people paint her as some sort of irredeemable bully . she's tired and lonely and isn't going to get pushed around anymore . i just felt so bad for her in this scene like my god .

Despite how this song plays in-game, this cover really makes me feel like I'm nearing the end of a journey. The final area is just up ahead and the grand finale is fast approaching. You did a really good job with this theme, and I'm excited to hear more OMORI covers in the future!

recently broke up with a best friend for what I hope to be for the last time, if they come back it won't be a free pass back into my life like last time. it wasn't hard at all to tell them I didn't care about what they thought did or felt anymore, I didn't want them in my life anymore because I was tied to them and there was no untangling it, only cutting it. what I thought was a weave between to strings was really just a knot in mine.

That's a huge compliment! Silent Hill is my favorite horror franchise and the soundtrack was definitely a big inspiration on my work as a whole!

The remix hits more into the heart than Omori's stab move while he is sad
idk why but am i the only one who says the songs title "it means everything" in like a way that makes it sound like im holding in tears? it gives me shivers and some how makes the song more emotional
i don't usually comment, but i just wanted to say that is is absolutely godly, as aubrey is my favourite character and this is my favourite track in the game. i have never related to a character so much in my life and every aspect of her is so me and makes me feel seen. i love her. her theme very well could be my theme as well. i can feel and relate to the raw emotion in every second of this. when i have spells of rage/feel abandoned which is a common occurrence for me, i turn on this remix. it has gotten me through so much. excellent work

I'm not a person who's really into metal by any means, but I genuinely teared up listening to this cover. If the OG song hit me where it hurts, this cover slammed me into the ground with a four wheeler.
I hope I can learn to shred like you do someday on the guitar, you absolute legend. This song makes me feel 2x more than the original, if only because you can connect the sick shreds on the guitar to the anger and hopelessness Aubrey felt. Or maybe I'm just emotional and tired. Either way!
