New to the channel and lovin the content. Funny hearing you guys talk about language, I’m English, but speak German and French. I must say I found German much easier to learn as English is a Germanic language so it always made sense. French...well that’s a different beast. Lol. Good stuff.
learning german and finding the same thing, have a lot of pity for my japanese classmates learning it lol, for us its just like learning ye olde english. ending with year two now and relative pronouns have been a bit challenging though
One thing that bothers me in this game, is planes hitting the ground at such high speeds and not disintegrating. Like they are made of rubber and the ground was made of ice.
@@Jbroker404 I understand that. But to a real fighter plane not to disassemble in contact with the ground, the angle must be much mode shallower and the speeds lower. Also, the ground in IL-2 is too slippery when a plane crashes. For a game that cares so much for realism, that is a sore spot.
I personally don't care one bit. It's good enough and to make it more realistic it would need way more. Warping materials. Planes digging into the ground etc. That is something for the next or even the simulation generation after the the next.
@@SheriffsSimShack Is not that I want it to be as realistic as possible, but a revision of the speed and angle numbers that make a plane explode would be nice. Increasing the ground attrition a bit would be the sherry on top.
Could you explain what stabilizer percentage you use at cruising flight and what you change to when you do for dive attacks? It looks like you put to 30 percent while in the dive? Thanks and love the vids as always !
There is not a rule. I don know the percentages out of the top of my head. I trim my aircraft that way to get a desired behaviour. In a dive I want that my aircraft pulls out of a dive on its own, in a cruise I want that my plane stays level when releasing the stick. I do that just by feeling and not a certain percentage.
@@SheriffsSimShack thank you for the reply. Yeah I always have had trim set for level but never adjust on the dive like you do. Thanks and can’t wait to try today! Your channel is great and I’m still learning so much. I’m still getting worked on the servers pretty good with poor SA and spotting
@@SheriffsSimShack tanks aren't really my interest either, but I purchased TC just to have the option and support the developers, and there have been some intense battles with planes flying all around me; lots of immersion! I highly recommend! It's actually the first tank game I've ever enjoyed playing.
Is that a bulge on the cowling or are you just pleased to see me?
Excellent teamwork; your wingman is a good spotter. We need more entertainment for the holidays, please!
nice job Sheriff

very nice river wait......

If they hit the ground at a steep angle, they do completely disintegrate. Just not if it's from a shallow angle.

@@magoid I agree with that too. I think there are often times when IL-2 looks realistic, but others like that, that make it look fake.

Hartman's colours (III / JG52)?
nice video master

P-47's are tough targets.
Excellent video well done.
Hey Sheriff! I just saw a video about the tank crew. If you have that too; could you do that too? Maybe even online? That would be cool!
I dont even own tank crew. Tanks are something I am not really interested in.

So does the G-6/L with MW50 and Erla Haube handle any different that the G-14?
a little, but not much.
@@SheriffsSimShack Do you think one has a slight edge over the other or are they basically identical?
@@stenduginski2306 since the G-6 is a bit lighter its a tiny bit better. 50kg difference.
One disadvantage of the G-6 Late compared to G-14, is the radio navigation is not optional on G-6 Late.
Me being pissed off at 26:46 :)
