    Nice review. But do not hesitate to take a wrench to those grips to get them to fit you better. It's not just about comfort, it is about safety. Thanks for the great info. I think I'm going to get one just like yours. 👍

    It is true about the LED bulbs. I immediately hated them when they first came out. It felt dangerous driving at night. To compensate for their inferiority they’ve made them extremely bright, so now it seems everyone is driving around with their high beams on. LED’s are a gimmick to get you to pay more for something we’ve always had in the first place.

    I just now noticed the laminar vent in the windshield. I had not realized that was there. That should greatly reduce buffeting and backdraft.

      @@MotorcyclistDiaries You know I've thought about that. You and others are such good TH-camrs then I listen to mine and I sound depressed, that I'm getting ready to jump off a bridge. But since you mentioned it I will think about it some more. I value your opinion.
      I'm heading down to Boca Chica Texas and the Rocket Ranch campground to check out SpaceX and she rolled over 16,000mi/25,700km yesterday.

    • @MotorcyclistDiaries
      @MotorcyclistDiaries  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Please don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to teach you or something.
      I was comparing myself to different TH-camr's and felt depressed as well because there always will be somebody who is kind of a "better".
      I learnt that hard way that "comparing" is a "Big NO NO". We all are different and unique and have different perspective and vision, experience, soul and talents. There is simply no one like you in whole World who can make review your own way, the way you like it.
      Truly saying I get into that trap of comparison sometimes and I continuously work on that. On "Being Free" of other peoples opinion judgements and authority or influence.
      25K kilometers! C'mon man! Who can possibility to ride Boca Chica Texas checking out SpaceX now?!))

    we have two meteor350 at home. one mine and my wife. she is a new rider and loves this. she learnt to ride on my RE Bullet 350.
    I moved from RE Bullet-Electra 350 to this but its my 4th bike.
    i wanted to go for interceptor650, higher price aside. it just missed out on small things. alloys wheels/tubeless tyres/ and riding comfort. meteor won easily.

    At first I wanted the Fireball Yellow, too! 😄 But then I actually bought the Stellar Black, 2022 model…it’s gorgeous!
    I think your friend needs to find a different RE dealer. Bulb goes out after a couple of days and they don’t replace it for free? Come on! Handlebar adjustment? A piece of cake! Don’t touch it? WTF?
    Your friend is very sympathetic, very well spoken and described my experience with the Meteor, so far (except for the poor dealer service!), to a tee 👍 Sewing machine sound…perfect description!
    Great video…thank you 🙏

    Yes, It’s True… Then LED Light Is Bright And Some Wide And Won’t Go That Far… But, Halogen Lights Are Brighter Wider And Also Cover More Far Then LED Lights… That’s Why Every Royal Enfield Bike Have Halogen Lights…

    gearing is interesting. 1st and 2nd is short. 3rd is perfect for city cruising. 4th for highway cruising and 5th when you dont need to overtake anything (downshift to 4th) and yes 1st gear is clunky sounding.

    I like the style of your videos...
    I'm between this one and a Honda twister 250, same speed, built quality seems RE is better? Would you say the Meteor is a better build than the Himalayan? Seems RE is improving in that aspect.
    The Twister is built in Brazil fit and finish is so so, and seems it has less fuel efficiency around 27 km x L.
    Would have loved to get your impressions on the ride not just from the bud.
    I'm older so I kind of like relaxed driving, and fuel efficiency, going for long rides without having to think on a fuel budget.

    • @MotorcyclistDiaries
      @MotorcyclistDiaries  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Overall finishing is pretty good. I don't know about quality of this bike, telling about quality I mean quality of metal alloy I wish it was improved comparing to Himalayan.

    Liked the review, and I think the bike is very nice either. Interesting names and accent, are you of Russian-Korean decent? If so, I salute you again, from the Middle East, but born in the USSR.
    About the costs - Importers love to throw ridiculous prices, to keep warranty usually you must use a licensed mechanic shop, but check the small print, maybe a regular licensed mechanic can legally fix it.
