Lucky son to get your hand me downs. It been spring here for about a month. I have to cut my grass every week. We did a another cold spell this past weekend.

"Look at the thickness of that steel", lol. No, it is far from heavy duty or tough. After two years my 1248 frame shows multiple divots, dings and bulges from cutting tall brush in a field that had more than a few rocks and things that go bang. Not ridiculous things, just what you'd find in a rough field. Not thick strong steel.
