Joel is a GEM! Not only practically but as a thinker! Read his books! As Wendell Berry said 'we have an agriculture that doesn't give a d... about health and a health system that doesn't give a d.. about food'. We are going through a major shift in Western consciousness - Western man has always had contempt for nature and its amazing free gifts - the results have been constant poverty and disease over centuries. The Law of Return .. they can't even spell it. Contrast this with South Asia (read "Farmers of 40 centuries") - amazing culture, totally sustainable with vast population densities!
So when Western man finally developed industrial technology (specialize, specialize use only man-made controllable inputs), it was seen as a GOD!! to be pursued without limit or compunction - and carried EVERYWHERE, because it appeared the only source of improving well being.
And so we carry it the mentality to agriculture and health care... in the first we specialize, use only controllable inputs, mega-scale and replace labor everywhere. In the second, we ignore or ban any natural healing tools and use only controllable inputs. Do this and GREED will follow because you have emptied of all satisfaction two areas that DO involve incredible joy and skill if done with nature.
And so we all move to the city and consume goops of fossil fuels - and NOW, as Joel says, we have the baby boomer generation (and followers) - the biggest bunch of (mostly) urbanized spoilt brats, detached from the cycles of life and death and the kinds of ecological processes involved in regen ag.
They alas now rule the roost - mandating vaccines, hiking gas, locking down people, draconian measures, starting wars to cut off food supplies - all TRYING to fight climate change WITH ZERO ecological understanding! A lot of people will die and the central issues of ecology will WORSEN as they remove people and holistically grazed animals.
This IS a spiritual fight - if the Joels and the Cowans and others win, we will move to bring in in an Eden in food and health. And yu know what? This mess is the result of millions of souls screaming "Enough vaccines, enough poisioned food, enough Mafia medicine" - WE BLOODY WELL WILL WIN MATE and in totally peaceful ways!
Thank both of you and Allan Savory for all you have taught millions like myself!

we dont need "animal protien" when we can make all we need from a natural plant based diet
i know that man is healthy happy and kind, sensitive and intelligent when we dont eat and exploit animals
i have lived thsi life, and i knwo that anyoen who eats animals and denies teh harm it causes, is denying the obvious.
i think tom seems like a godo man, in terms of their stance againt virology i hop ethey can realise that animal foods are not required for healythy living and are adfctually detrimental to a positive environment,
animal eaters are not capabel of a rational discussion on thsi topic, in the same way most people cant talk about virus/vax
i woudl be happy to dicuss thsi topic of animal eating with tom or anyoen else.

      Plants don't have:
      Vitamins: A, B6 (pyridoxal, pyridoxamine), B12, D, F, K2.
Amino acids: creatine, taurine, carnitine, carnosine.
Cholesterol, saturated animal fat, heme-iron, CLA, CoQ10.
Oh and "crop deaths tho" lmao. Vegans love killing animals to protect their crops. In fact, orders of magnitude more sentient animals are killed and suffer due to plant agriculture, somewhere in the region of 25 times the amount killed for human consumption. I guess in a funny way you misanthropic vegans love animals so much that you want to kill them all so they might never suffer. Unfortunately, they do suffer (a lot) from: insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, rodenticides, trapping, choking, drowning, and shooting. Some of these animals then lay festering in the fields, streams, lakes, and oceans, sometimes being eaten by predators who are then also poisoned. This is just scratching the surface and doesn't even include the untold damage done to the earth.
      Keep up the good work!
In fact, if you want to debate someone, go to the channel Garland Farms here on TH-cam, he often has livestreams where anyone can join and "debate" him. I've watched many, and let's just say the vegans aren't sending their best.
