- This is a overview of me staying overnight at the MEPS hotel and getting processed & completing my physical the next day. I left out some things to compensate for time and others i will be making a separate video on.

My MEPS experience was pure HELL. Super rude doctors/nurses, I was there for 11+ hours, and the facility was literally like a maze I couldn't find Shit.
Yeah everyone there is an asshole except the people in the offices
They know you were going to basic, didn't want you getting soft and hit you with reality early.

I remember the hearing test being difficult. I dont have any hearing problems at all. But they make it so quiet, and I got so worried that I wasn't going to pass. Everyone at MEPS said that. I ended up getting a 10 on it. As long as you listen and pay attention you should be good.
Bro I started going insane on the hearing portion 😭. I kept thinking I heard the beep and I kept clicking the button. I had to retake the hearing portion but I still passed it.
Even after being in the fleet, remember we had to keep taking those tests? I think I pressed the button for silence more than I did for the beeps. It makes the brain play tricks on you, I swear.
I felt like I was getting judged... it was very very cold in there.. 😔

Update #3 Currently on a PRECOM it ain’t bad but it ain’t easy lol. Met some people that are awesome. I already hit third class did it in a year and a half. I’ll update again in like a year or so lol

I took the asvap last week and qualified for everything(I think my avg was a 60), and I’m going to MEPS next Monday. I’m kind of nervous because that’s just how I am, so this video helped. I think I’m going to enlist as a 15U! So excited!
Edit: 3 years later…I think I ended up scoring a 74, which was enough to qualify for any MOS I wanted. When I was there 15U(Blackhawk repairmen) & 15T(Chinook repairmen) was not available, and I let my recruiter talk me into becoming an 88M with a 20k bonus as the incentive, which I never ended up getting because of misinformation/difficulties within my unit. I am now excited for my ETS date lol, how the tables have turned.

I was sworn into the Army on June 20 this year, and I’m in Memphis, Tennessee so we had our stay at a huge Hilton hotel and they had an actual restaurant and the whole menu was free, the lobby had two PS4’s, a TV with with Amazon Prime, and other games and activities. The hotel was a cylinder shaped glass tower so it looked pretty cool, and my room was on the 16th floor. My hotel experience was amazing, but the meps experience was kind’ve awkward. My doctor was eating peanut butter crackers while he was examining my body and, he asked me to turn around and spread and I heard a crunch🤦🏽♂️🥴 everyone from my Meps group was making jokes about what would happen before he called us in and after we left. Later that day we ate lunch which was catered from Jason’s Deli, and finalized our MOS’s and contracts and got sworn in.

Not necessarily. Most of the time they'll take you in but you will have restrictions put on you like what jobs you can choose or where you can be based. I foolishly answered yes to have smoked weed before (I dropped dirty my first time around and I feared reprimands if I said I didn't). Well, my recruiter got mad at me for being honest and they denied me to be based on the west coast and couldn't go to Hawaii or Japan.

I was their for an extra day because way too many people were doing their final swear in to leave. Was pretty pissed off lmao. Next morning I wake up at 4 and don’t do shit till 1:30 when I swear in then leave lmao

We could choose from Alfredo, A burger or a salad.. it was pretty good... we had to order what we wanted & they cooked it in front of us... I didn't mess with that breakfast tho... they played y'all lmaoo... that duck 🦆 walk was difficult... lol

100% right. MEPS can be easy but when the doctor finds something wrong with you that's where the waiver process can be stressful and annoying. Waivers can take a while to get looked at and signed

i whent to the recruiters office on like 2 hours sleep and in my daze the recruiter asked if i ever smoked and said he said he smoked 5 times and was fine so i stupidly told the truth and said yes once on my 18th bday, is that gna DQ me?

My MEPS experience was cool and actually not that bad 👍🏾 I had sweared in January 22nd, 2020 for the Air Force
My recruiter got super scared, at first, when I circled yes for something. It was for tattoos. Her reaction had me dying

My meps experience wasn't really that bad the food I got was actually pretty dam good beer fried soup burgers for dinner pancakes bacon eggs yogurt and a whole bunch of deliciousness for breakfast that shit was bomb

My recruiter had me run for three hours on a treadmill and around the hotel itself (outside) until I lost enough weight to make weight the next day. I lost three pounds in three hours (fortunately he conditioned me for it months in advance so I didn't have a hard time lol)

Bro for my meps it was in a niiiiceee ass hotel and the food was prepared at the "bistro" restaurant by professional chefs and it was fucking amazing we had everything you did except a pool table

I remember the urinalysis section 😂. Absolutely NO ONE had to pee so we all panicked and drank as much water as possible because they said we could’ve gotten disqualified if we couldn’t “go peepee” 😂😭

I’m currently in processing for MEPS right now and have ADHD and aspergers and a long assssssss military medical record. So far I’ve gotten a ton of letters of recommendations from my professors and teachers from high school and college and doctors notes that my recruiter told me to get. What do you think the chances are I’ll get in?

Bailey Muhle well they just got my medical records. Now they’re having me go to my medical provider and get a psych eval and then they’re gonna give me a psych eval at MEPS too. So we’ll see. My first psych eval is on April 1st so my MEPS will probably be sometime after.

They always try to do that "ears clean" thing.
My first thought of the Navy wasn't good, I took the ASVAB with about 20 other people and when I got back to the recruiter they wanted to speak to me in private and they said I was automatically failed because the proctor said I cheated and didn't listen to her instructions. She accused me of not putting my pencil down on the desk when the bell rang when the time was up for taking that portion of the test. So these numnuts said I would have to take the test all over again but I would have to wait 90 days to do it. I guess they wanted to punish me and give me time to think about what I did. Of course they wouldn't let me face my accuser, bunch of idiots. So 90 days later took the test again, thank god I had another proctor.
i wish i saw this before going to meps for the army bc i said yes to one question and i wasn’t allowed to get sworn in, i was told id come back another day, never got contacted and my recruiter stopped talking to me. allat meps shit for nothing and they had a creepy old man doctor for the girls’ physical
