Joining Jobs in Neom | Things to consider to join NEOM related projects

- NEOM is a very hot topic these days in Saudi Arabia. A lot of people are joining NEOM related projects. However, there are some merits and demerits of joining NEOM. I have explained them in this video. However, I want to disclaim that these are my personal views and the situation may vary from time to time and my views may become invalid in future.
The benefit of joining NEOM projects is that monetary benefits and salaries in NEOM are relatively better than the rest of the projects happening in Saudi Arabia. When someone is looking for a job or joining the NEOM related project, make sure to negotiate for better financial benefits.
Accommodation can either be near to project site or in Tabuk. In case someone gets accommodation on site, he would have to live in the compound. Compound life is different from normal city life. Not many cafes and options to eat outside. Compounds normally don't allow to cook inside the compound they manage their own mess where scheduled food is provided for everyone. Compounds try to accommodate all nationalities and multicultural people which may affect individual choice to choose the many.
In case someone gets accommodation in Tabuk, although eating options are a lot in Tabuk travelling becomes the main issue. Tabuk to Neom takes around 2 hours to 3 hours on one side depending upon the type of vehicle. Many people are travelling on a daily basis which is very difficult task. Those who travel to Neom go early in the morning and when they return it's almost night. Those who are living with family prefer to travel and join family every day and they are happy with travelling.
The moral of the whole analysis is that if you are thinking about shifting to Tabuk or joining a related project analyse your situation very carefully and make your decision accordingly.

Neom is building accomodation at the site but Tabuk is nearest city so same like The Line project people commute from Tabuk

AoA sir, I'm an environmental engineer and will be moving to Saudi Arabia in September. I have heard that NEOM project has been stopped? Is it true? I'm very nervous to move after hearing this news. Kindly verify
It's true to some extent but ot 100%. Line project has been slowed down. Many people are leaving it but still work is in progress. Plan accordingly

Update LinkedIn and other job search website. Target recruiters in India who work for gulf country clients and tell you availability but only those who don't ask for money in advance.

If you can live without family then Neom job. If you want to live with family, go for Riyadh job.

Brother could you suggest suitable areas for Indian family in tabuk with affordable rent ?
W salam. As such I dont know any specific area where Indian community loves to live. However, there is an area called Bangali market where Indian, Pakistan and Bangladeshi people are in large number. You may say a South Asian community. However, Al Murooj area is affordable to live in. If you have budget you may check Al Salam district.

Salary of project manager in health industry will be less than salary of software engineer in IT company. anyways salary is subjective term. you can expect between SAR 10,000 and 20,000
Can we stay with family in Duba ?
In Duba yes. But it's a very small town. If you have school going kids, it might be more difficult. Also big hospitals are only available in Tabuk. From Duba to Tabuk its around 2-3 hour drive.

Between 7 thousand and 20 thousand depending upon your experience. Average salary is 9500.

W salam. Family flat start from 12 13 thousand rayal per year. My one friend is living with family. He is paying around 14 thousand. Building is a bit old but flat is clean.

Manager livel job is between 25 and 50 thousand riyal. Isi range me hono fhaheye. Plus it depends upon industry in which you operate. IT industry me zada hoge construction industry me kam hoge .
