I use the bulldozer to create waterholes in lower ground areas to bring water into the interior. Can also create rivers from the ocean to the desired places inland but can get complicated. Sometimes I've drowned in the water before I could get the bulldozer up the incline but great success overall.
I will have to try that. Thanks.
Hey. There is a sapphire node at the center of the snowy island. When flying in from over the water, just as you enter the canyon/valley after flying through the "beach", turn right and you'll find it.
The next island to the north-west of it, is plenty of amethyst and also a diamond node on the north side.
Oh yeah, almost forgot. Sapphire node also on the beach at the west side of the snowy island.
Thanks I will have a look. I found one on the west of that island. Edit. Thanks for your second comment. I found that one by accident.
@surtrplays Nice! I found some more. 😃 All the way at the south-east of the same island is a lot of good nodes, Graphite, Sapphire and Diamond also. Good place for making Quantum computers if you transfer rubies there manually since rubies are only in the north.
Nice tip about upgrading the conveyor belts!
I agree that it is sometimes easier to craft things yourself than to set up automation.
Great progress today!
It is easier until you need a lot of a high-end item. Hand crafting is very slow.
sapphire is the cold areas. If you go into the codex and click on it will tell you which environment it's in (cold, hot, radiation)
Thanks. I did find one by accident.
Going well there, @Surtr. 👍
Good to see you getting some greenery about the place as you go. :)
Thanks. I need to do much more, when I remember.
Nice episode, one tip once I have unlocked the warehouses I move and store all the junk I have collected for storage lockers at the base to a spare line on a warehouse, so always have everything on hand and just keep food oxygen and the spare suit addons.
Great tip. Thanks,
Don't forget power is a network. So you can have several big buildings generating alot of power (you will need this with nuclear power plants) then simply chain the power all over the map with simple wind turbines to connect them. Then your new areas wont need giant power buildings. I have alot of nuclear power plants in the couple areas with uranium and use wind turbines spaced out to other areas to connect power to other small bases.
Thanks. I will start connecting the networks once I have things a little more set up.
another QoL this game could use is a visual radius to denote the area effect of machines like the water purifiers, and power buildings. or even tell us in the description the range. thanks for the vids. loving the series.
I agree, that would be super helpful! Thanks for watching.
You're doing so good. I'm so looking forward to the next episode. ❤
Thanks so much! I’m glad you are enjoying it.
Good work man
Thanks very much.
So I found carbon in the sandy central part of the hotest hot zone and phospus nearby. Had a very long water pipe
I found some too. Thanks.
a trick I learned with pipe hub is if u place over a created pipe you add it with destroying the pipe
Oh really! That is excellent. I will try it out.
Saphire nodes are quite small and hard to see in the snow, I found one by accident. Keep looking :) I would say where but can't remember right now
Yup, I found one while looking for graphite and phosphorus.
For rubber: you need 2.5 green houses for 1 part producer - check their speeds. Organic:Rubber is 5:1. Green houses produce 60/min, part producer 30/min -> 150/min for organics - faster belts. Edit: wait, it is 60 rubber/min now? oh, well, old info ;).
Yeah, I really have been ignoring the numbers in this playthrough. Now that I have a better idea of what is in the game, I may be more efficient in the next playthrough.
boas Surtr. só aprendendo.
Obrigado por assistir meu vídeo.
I Recommend that u start using the blue conveyor belt
Its faster and u already have automated osmium alloy soooo 😊
Thanks. I have started to switch over. I think I will only use them from now on.
100% the nodes will adjust to the terrain when you go up or down it will follow.
Many thanks.
You will need a lot of catalytic converters when you start making the radiation scrubber buildings
Definitely. They must be automated.
If you do reactor plant, you'll need a supply of water and a conveyor feed of refined uranium to get 5600 MW.
Good to know, thanks.
I used a buggy to go around islands, easier to spot large mines than flying, at least for me.
I'm not having too much trouble with the flying but maybe the buggy would be easier.
maybe split that isolent to fill that warehouse.
I didn't know I needed that much of it. I will keep an eye out. Thanks.
you can raise or lower the nodes i am pretty sure you don't really need that tunneler. Only because watching you tunnel with out one. Now the question is how far can you run a pipe through a mountain and it will tunnel it for you....wherever you tunnel with a pipe you couldn't run out of pipe before mountain.
The pipe doesn't make a tunnel. It just goes underground and it goes for a really long way. I might the tunnel when I formalize a bit of a road network.
it will also raise node to levels you want
Thanks.
if you lose your ship because you died really far away I am pretty sure that while at your base you can someone it to your base pad
I believe you can.

Thanks.
so I put the atmosperic control tower in the middle of the hotetst hot zone and powered with 3 geo thermal power stations
I had thought about that but I found some stuff that might negate the boosted power effects.
Does a warehouse supply the whole planet?
Yes, you can craft and build with whatever is in your warehouses.
Did they get rid of the tidal wave? Or am I mixing up my games?
Same game, different planet. The Dev is adding planets with different challenges.
You can just add your 4way pipe to pipe you already have!
Thanks.

You can't make water out of snow?
That would be handy, but no.
you cud build the new base over the water
I could. I haven't really decides how I am going to do it now that I see we have 'city' buildings.
@@surtrplays have you seen Orebound looks good
I did see something. I will need to have another look at it.
This game looks like planet crafter but it has more complicated and satisfying mechanics and machines but it has weaker graphics than planet crafter.
The graphics aren't too bad, just now as pretty as the others. The gameplay is great though.
