Tier is not based on how far a pro makes it with a character, tier list are based on the assumption that when skill level is equal between players, certain characters are better than others and easier to win with. A mid/low tier character can be used very well like whitebois scarecrow who's still a mid tier character even though he just won CEO with him. Red hood is mid tier at best regardless of how far he goes IMO. I'm just saying casuals will complain as usual not knowing what they're talking about
jsmasterlubu3 tiers are based on matchups. Someone with a lot of winning or even matchups will generally be regarded as higher tier

Those mix-ups with the mines are amazing. I think Red Hood could be close to top tier (at least top of the mid tier) once people explore what he's capable of.
People complaing about Red Hood damage being to low.
Guys, it's not Red Hood that deals to little damage, instead, we are used with Black Adam matches and his 2 hits kills. It's fucking disgusting to have a character that deals 500+ damage with 1 bar. look at MKX, the most damaging combos in the game were all corner combos and you need to use like 2~3 bars with a perfect execution to get close to that.
So, Red Hood is fine, the "top tier" characters that are broken af atm

The Sixth Hokage every character does, you don't just land every hit unless the other player sucks at blocking.
Black Adam does loads of damage but he's pretty easy to beat, at least for me anyway. The only thing I think deff needs to change is his trait being able to kill. That's annoying af
I love this character so far. His setups are easy to pull off and not always easy to get away from even if you punish the mine. He has good mobility with the option to meterburn the dashes for damage. And the trait isn't something I have to keep tabs on or manage, not to mention the strings aren't too minus on block. Most fun character for me so far.

But he struggles against zoning characters like cyborg, starfire, deadshot, etc. Against most other characters he does pretty well.
Red hood's whine when he gets hit is kind of annoying. They need to nerf his whine

SlimZ His scream in the Lazarus pit didn't really sound like this one but I get what you're saying. Having to constantly hear it during a match gets annoying. He's definitely the loudest screamer.
I think it's the longest too? he's still 70% through his scream and he's already recovered and standing up.

Red Hood is an interesting fighter who lacks good damage. I think Starfire will be the most popular dlc from fighter pack 1
irina1296 possibly. It's no question that red Hood was the most wanted. But due to his "disappointing" gameplay I wouldn't doubt that starfire beats Hood in popularity

Great set, but man, Red Hood's meter burn combo damage is too low..... (740: 281 for 1 meter for example)
I main Red Hood and I would place him at Mid Tier at worst and Mid Top Tier at best. Thats just my opinion though. I have beaten multiple top tier characters easily with him

I've only played Red Hood a few times, but in my opinion he is really good if you learn how to use him. Pair that with one of the best players ever and you get this.

I got him today and he feels pretty average except has high mobility and some defense options. He does pretty low damage I think but the trait is good for damage. I think his above average speed is probably his greatest strength. Very nimble. Some compare him to the joker but idk. Joker does most of his damage with the crowbar while hood does a lot of mix ups. I seen pro joker players doing insane damage in the corner. Idk I like joker more. Hood might be a little easier to use.

I play red hood because he reminds me most of Kano out of the current roster. A command grab would have made him perfect.
Whywouldi Givemyrealname kano actually did damage though, his plus in the power up variation was crazy, I used him a lot rarely saw him online though.
Red hood's trait sucks, those move should've been a part of the combo list and his treat should have been something else and the abilities should've been in his combo list too at least two of them

This is how pro players stay or become pro. They're learning the matchup. You can't do that with just a couple of games.

Red Hood's damage is awful. 1 bar for 300 damage? Black Adam can get close to that with just his meter burn lightning. LMAO. He desperately needs a damage buff, like immediately. Until then I can't see him being competitively viable. Why would you play this gimmick character when you have access to 1 bar 400-500+ damage characters like Supes, Aquaman and Black Adam? Red Hood's got some cute HTB's with his mine set-ups but in this game they are obsolete when you realise invincible wake-ups are a free way out for the entire cast.
Ehh he still has alote of options others don't, His wakeUp options are amazing and break armour, he has good zoning and good pressure. He's mid tier, we can't make all mid tier top tiers either. Bring down top tiers to make it more even for the other's
His wake-up is useless in the corner though, so he can be trapped and bullied there. I agree the top tiers should be nerfed or 'normalised' in level with the rest of the cast.

Red Hood is trash, I never lose to RH players online. You can duck all his projectiles, he doesnt have a good wake up, the mine is obvious and he doesnt do big damage at all from anything. REO should be ashamed of himself for getting owned like this by Red Hood I don't care who's playing with him. ESPECIALLY WITH A HIGH TIER CHARACTER LIKE SUPERMAN.
