Absolutely spot on calling out "THIS IS ANFIELD" Totally agree that banner does not amount to 1,000 empty seats. Most likely 5 seats in a row that he Foundation Banner is used for segregation X 30 rows front to back is 150 empty seats. Keep up the good work GB , your doing Liverpool Fans proud.

When you walked past the outside of the SKD stand it really showed how dated it looks. The club will have a decision to make soon enough if expansion is proving impossible. Cheers for the update
The thing is with capacities are, you rarely of ever have full capacity at games, even Man Utd don’t. Reason is, some season ticket holders don’t turn up or sell tickets for certain games. You’ll get full sell outs but not full capacity for games, when Liverpool play Man Utd this season it will be Liverpool’s highest capacity ever in the PL
Unlike the likes of Man United, Abu Dhabi and Arsenal, Liverpool post attendances of people through the gates on the day, not tickets sold. According to Greater Manchester Police, Old Trafford attendance is often up to 10,000 below the posted figure. We all see the empty seats at the Emptyhad, despite them saying it was full, too. Same with the Emirates, to a lesser extent. All our league games have been sold out this season, as they usually are every season. Whether everyone who purchased a ticket actually turns up is a different matter. There will always be a number of people who don't or can't make it.

If its being returned to a wheelchair access area with no further seats being added then what was the reason for ripping it all out only to put it all bsck together again as it was. Does anyone know? Was it just another previous bbotched up job that has had to be redone again This build has been comical and a very very sad joke. Yes we have a ground that now holds 60,000+ but not the 61,000+ we were led to beleive but we also know that when the seating on the lower Sir Kenny stand is adjusted to allow for more keg room ( very much needed , i know i sat there for 6 seasons) then their is a estimated reduction of 1500 seats to acheive this which will drop the ground capacity to about 59,000 despite FSG promising that under their ownership they would provide Liverpool FC with a 60,000 seater stadium

Wonder if those people that spent good money on buying their "FOREVER STONES" can sue LFC for misadvertising a Stone that is anything but a "FOREVER STONE" Probably just a "24 month stone" as the names on many have fadedand become virtually unreadable.
We don't get to capacity because of the amount of new hospitality seats lfc have put in this year in standard seats then don't drop them back to standard seats when they can't sell the £45 seats for around £500
"STILL think in about 20 years we'll be in a new STADIUM, probably in the KIRKBY area, think about it we can't expand the kop because of Walton breck & skd stand would take decades to expand because of the houses behind, it will make sense to build a new STADIUM, probably when FSG sell up so the new owners will have to make a decision then 😮😮
Twenty years ago LFC voted ✔ to stay at Anfield and that's what they will do. I would expect a further ground expansion within those twenty years for sure
thanks mate but i think you are wrong about the segrigation banner not taking many seats ,the baner is 4 seats wide by 60 approx seats long that's 240 seats approx the other part they are converting from the wheel chair access to the seated is approx 4 rows of 90 seats so 360 seats plus the banners 240 is 600 approx extra seats
Still over 700 to be accounted for, precisely that banner only takes 240, as for the wheelchair bay the final figure was already counted as it was apparently in the planning so the 390 don't even count 👍
@@greybeardmedia-merseysidebey understand what you are saying mate but I don't recall the plans showing disabled access at that part of the stand ,maybe Liverpool decided to improve the view for disabled supporters and that is to be commended ,for all we know they may now convert the disabled access at the bottom of the stand to fully seating,Buckingham plc are the reason this whole thing got a bit scrappy and a year late not the owners and the stadium under their stewardship is ten times better and 16000 seats bigger not to mention the club shop ,it would be nice to see the SKD STAND ENLARGED I THINK ITS WORTH PUTTING AN EXTRA 5000 STRIP ALONG THE TOP JUST A BASIC STRIP ANDRAISE THE ROOF TO MATCH THE ANNIROAD HIGHT AND KEEP IT AROUND THE 64/65 THOUSAND MARK WHICH I DONT THINK IS OUTSIDE THE PUBLIC TRANSPORT RESTRICTIONS ,ANY WAY THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT UPDATES YOU AND THE REST HAVE BEEN EPIC

The memorial stones have turned out to be a complete waste of time and money. Both both the club and the people that brought them..... And those bloody windowsills.... Do you think they've forgotten they still need to be completed?
