I have the thumbers. Would it be possible to make the top flat part slight concave? I love mine but I still slip a bit. Slightly cup like, i feel like that'll be the secret to keeping thumbs from slipping.
2023...all the pics I've see of the ripsticks have the brass thread inserts, but the 2 sets I have dont have any. Can inserts be installed in the five33 sticks? If so whats the recommended temperature? I have a set from 533 and another shop. I also have some grippie sticks whoch do actually have the inserts installed. With the inserts I can use blue loctite and the ends wont loosen when pinching or taking off/on gimbal guards.
I will work on it !! The stick ends are dependent on the thread size of your radio. Most Radiomasters are M4. But there are some small radios with M3. If you have a question about your specific radio, let me know!
I still struggle to understand, why those gymbals need razor blades as contact points to your thumb.. not much of an issue in the field but if I do racing sim at home, it's usually my damaged skin that ends the session. WHY XD And now in winter I'm confident I could use my MTB-Gloves for flying as well.. but those metal gymbals will ruin them in an hour... Imma getting me some of these!
I came up with a new name for race pilots today - nothing but... right and left turn l053rs. Similiar to cinematic pilots, who are what I call... straight line l053rs.
I love the MCK sticks, they do tear my thumbs up, but they never slip. Reminds me of when I learned to play the guitar and had to condition my hands to play for long time periods. Just need to get my thumbs in shape.
All the gimbal sticks I've used are about 1cm too short. My extended gimbal M4 Frsky Umbrella stick ends run hanging on by about 5 threads on my TX-16s.; You don't want glass sharp points on the end (.e.e the default rubbish stick ends included on most transmitters, they are junk, even if you grind the points down on a bench grinder. BTW, if you think Umbrealla stick ends are honking too large (Maionhigh et al), it's because you don't know how to use them. You don't put your thumb slap dab over the center. You put your thumb on the very edge. Hyper is just a Nascar left turn joker going very fast, and that's about all you can say for his limited skill set. He is not the top pilot int he world. Anyone can do the same with a time accelator slider bar in their video editing software. In fact, a lot of posers.. do.. i.e., MCK (cough, sputter). I hate all these pilots you listed, why would you even respect them? They but race gate ponies. If you want to make a really good stick end, take the Frsky M4 CNC Umbrella end, clone it, but extend the threaded barrel end by about 1/4" (if it's too long for anyone, they can always grind the locking nut below it down, but you can't go the other way). Then thin the outside diameter of the same thread barrel down so it won't bang on the plastic housing of a TX-16s at maximum down and to the center on a TX-16s. Make 3 or 4 prototype sets for me the world's best aerobatic pilot, and if they are what I just described roughly, I'll pay for them and promote them.
You know why I call out these nascar left hand turn losers? I've seen Hypher showing off his videos running gates in Liftoff on Bardwell live stream, and I know Liftoff, you can not configure a quad to go that fast in the workshop using the most powerful motors and lightest frame. Time speeded up in a video editor by 2x. Don't be snowed by such YT upload rvbbish.

Why would need an .stl files. They are really a simple design, not hard to make in just a simple free 3d software cad program.
