My Mother often wore monochrome, so I never felt comfortable choosing t-shirts with writing or trendy clothes growing up. Really saved me. When I went off to college, my friends often told me that people mentioned that I was very classy. I dressed very simply. I usually try to wear no more than two colors. Love this!! I'd love to see a video on how to handle jealousy elegantly. Leveling up and become a higher version of yourself attracts many adversaries.
It's important to keep in mind that it's terribly inelegant to assume we know what other people are thinking and feeling without actually asking them. For instance, it might feel good to assume others are jealous of us when, in fact, they're disgusted with our attitude of superiority, not jealous at all. We all have blind spots so we don't always know how we come across to others, but it's immature and shallow to assume their negative reactions are an expression of jealousy.
@@LoralLee I understand where you are coming from, but I do think the original poster of this comment's inquiry about HOW TO HANDLE when it MIGHT be jealous is a valid question.
Omg I love Teddy Blake. I had a black crocodile handbag when I was about 15 years old and I was addicted to it ! It was as if it's my only hand bag ! But it was just my favourite# I was so classy! Hello my dear. My wife has mentioned you a few times and I thought I’d have a look at what you’re imparting to your audience. You are a breath of fresh air! Even as an older man, I enjoy listening to what you have to say. Generally, I’m appalled when I look around me, at what is acceptable these days. Many people, men and women, have no style these days. I remember my days in London and associating with my Nigerian friends and all of them, of both sexes, dressed so stylishly back in the late 70s and early 80s. I’m sure largely, people just don’t care enough about how they present themselves. Carry on the great work and hopefully more women at least will learn how to be more presentable with your help.
I love your channel. Would you be willing to do a video on flat shoes, sandals, and boots? Some women due to physical mobility cannot wear beautiful heels anymore. Thank you.
Hello Vivian, Happy new year. I am glad you are back, Thank you so much for your wonderful video it is well-researched and informative. We are grateful to have you here! Love from East Africa Tanzania 🇹🇿
Finally, someone says elegance doesn't come with fancy clothes. There are quite popular TH-camrs making videos bout elegance and always showing designers' pieces of stuff. Money doesn't bring elegance but new money ppl can't understand that. once French people made a word to describe that type of person which is elites:)

I just love your videos! I have so much to learn. I am a stay at home mama, I am sitting on the ground a lot, walking from place to place, and sitting in a rocking chair a lot with a little one. I want to dress more classy, but I feel lost in this phase of my life. Can you offer any suggestions or perhaps a very casual/classy video?
You look amazing! I’ve noticed that you have lost quite a bit of weight since you posted a video several months ago about dressing elegantly for your current size. You look healthy and amazing ❤️
I'm elegant in a gingham shirt ...it's the way you carry yourself that is also very important ....you need to feel good.... your confidence will shine through...
What’s elegant could be different to various people and cultures. For example I won’t wear a chunky necklace ( the choker from Dior) with an evening gown. However, I would most definitely wear it with a cable knit sweater. So it depends on the outfit and where you plan to wear certain clothing .
After I discovered the Kibbe and Merriam Style body shape approaches, I cannot but pay it forward. Warmly recommended as opposed to the traditional fruit approach.
