I love how you broke up the double bass rolls in the chorus with the linear fill. Sounds much better than just playing doubles the whole time and is much more impressive (to me at least).
While I think this album had its impressively hard moments of drumming I don’t think it’s the best that Navene could have done, I’m not super familiar with a lot of his work, if we wanna talk hard/impressive Whitechapel then I believe this is exile takes the icing on the cake for the hardest/most technical Whitechapel drumming, Kevin lane was a machine just a shame his ankles were starting to give out if he kept it up

God, Alex, I absolutely loved what you did in the chorus. It sounds so powerful and tight, you should definitely play it like that live. Very creative, you're incredible, man. I wish more drummers had that approach, instead of just playing straight 16th at very fast tempos.

I've seen Whitechapel 8 times and last month when I saw them was the best they ever sounded. Drums were mixed perfectly.
Alex is one of my favorite drummers. Maybe not the best in the world in any one area of drumming, just a badass in every area of drumming!!
