Loving the Moveset for the Borovian compared to the other two. Heavy - Light - Heavy for horde clear.
The heavy axe, branx, has a horde clear too, it's Action(push, any attack, or special)-Heavy-Light-Heavy-Light (repeat).
I mean. Thats the moveset which you use for half the weapons. I like the heave pickaxe more
It’s unfortunate the ogryn’s skills are so based around heavy attacks. I can feel the lack of bleed and toughness on weapon attack cycles that need to do light attacks. I feel like those skills should be updated to do a small amount of bleed and replenishment on light attacks as well as heavy.
@@AegisAuras You can fix that issue with blessings, you don't need to maximize damage in every single scenario unlike what the youtubers tell you, survivability can be huge too.

How the f did the plague ogryn not hit you, it just phased right through you. How????
i think orgyn is uninterruptable during reviving and boss charge does no damage so it basically didnt register

Nah i've definitely been hit by a charging plague ogryn while reviving someone before, quite a few time's and while playing as ogryn.
I play all classes, i don't have a main.

At this rate we're never gonna get an Autocannon for the Ogryn... I love playing this class but it's severely lacking in the guns department.
I can all but confirm the autocannon is coming. With the weapon customization mod the pump shotguns had a double barrel skin a long time before we were told it’s coming…after the update to the mod 2 days ago the stubbers now have 3 new variants that look almost exactly like the table top Ogryn’s autocannon. So uhhhh……….yeah..👀
So far I think my favorite model is the Branx. Its attack chains are great and it hits so hard.

Hey chocob, I noticed u never use the special attack, but I find it incredibly useful against bulwark
I initially started with that pick ax but ive had my mind changed to the karsolas. Pretty much everything on ogryn regens protection with heavies so even though i like the light combos they dont keep me alive. Still have to practice more maybe i am missing something.
The Karsolas combined with Heavy Hitter and Confident Strike is a horde mulcher. But the Karsolas doesnt work as well against single big targets.
Of course it is 🤘🏾 1st one I forged on day 1 💯😎

the pickaxes are easily my favourite ogryn weapons, those movesets are way more complex then I was expecting lol
i disagree they feel very unrefined, partially the animations dont even really connect when doing certain combos. there are some pretty bad backswing delays too. you can tell their lead gameplay guy quit the company

@@e5jhl I dunno, they feel infinitely better than the other ogryn weapons which always had extremely basic movesets and got boring to use very quickly. Maybe animations play up a bit but they feel fine to me, definitely better designed than most of ogryn's kit if you ask me
@@jeuzz3171 he's being a little dramatic about it, but the weapon range was acknowledged as something that somehow slipped through the playtesting process. Everything else about the pickaxe has otherwise blown my expectations out of the water.

Why pick the borovian over the branx or the karsolas? Is it a moveset thing, or is it something different?

Well I’m not Choco…but as someone who also chose the brovoian…it’s the perfect middle ground. It’s faster than the branx, and hits harder than the karsolas. It clears hoard’s and FUCKS armor.

@@ApharmdCX yes, I'm finding it weird as well, but that being said, the special attack that pulls the enemy towards you is pretty long.

Pickaxes are fun and brutal vs crushers but Bully club will always be the best melee all around.

I tried and tried and tried to use the pickaxe effectively, I lose more games, kill less enemies, am downed more. Despite finding success with it, Would you say you would have had an easier time with a different melee weapon?

Plague Ogryn ran through you. Trapper net disappeared half a centimeter in front of you when you didn’t make any effort to try and dodge it, burster blew up and didn’t blow the second burster, then that second burster just forgot how to burst and let you walk away from it.

This one is definitely the worst of the 3 pickaxes, not by much, but it is the worst if you have to rank them
