    During the closing party, Kaida talked about how both Kanae and Kuzuha practised a lot off-stream, especially with Kanae since his directions for the team was getting better every day with how much he practised, which is why they were all this frustrated. Honestly, I'm glad they were able to have fun during the closing despite feeling like this before it.
    I might clip more of those fun parts during and after the tournament if I have time. Didn't change the outro yet since I'm in pain from this since yesterday.

    It was really painful to see how quickly they died in the last round. There was so much hype and hope, and it was dashed so quickly. They even said it; it was anti-climactic. But they tried their best, and even got a champion.
    They improved so much as a team, especially Kaida who went from missing even throwing his domes to throwing God-tier game winning domes in their champion game.
    Thank you for the translation, even if it hurt to see that pain again. ;_;
    I really hope these three play again, tournament or not. They were a ton of fun, worked amazing together, and hell their look even well. (Pretty boys and Kaida's hair colour is like a halfway point between Kanae and Kuzuha)
    Fun fact: Kaida was the 2nd highest in supachat in the tournament behind Toya (birthday stream). Chat heard Kaida crying and a sent a dump truck of supas at him lmao.

      @@CeliaAkashi It wasn't his first tournament, he partecipated in the 2nd season of VSaikyo, but his team was not that strong (if I remember correctly it was Chigu-chan and Kaza-chan), and he was the one that had to make orders, so more pressure, he really did his best but also their coach had lost hope for them, totally different from Bodoka and Ras. They finished last, because they were also near Gorilla's landing spot, and they were always killed by him, so they more like trying to escape in every match, listeners were also complaining, because it was too painfull to watch them, so Kaida was traumatized to that experience. That's the reason why he didn't patecipated in the Nijipex and he really doesn't do much Apex streaming, even thought he loves FPS, I was so happy that he decided to join this tournament with Chronoir and he's known by more people, he really practiced so much and it showed in the tournament, I hope that he will have fun in the next tournament! Thank you for the translation as always

    I really love this team. Everyone did amazing at the end. I gotta say, Kaida improved a lot especially with how limited time he had to learn a new character to use for their team. From what I've seen so far with Chronoir, they tend to do aggressive plays no matter who they teamed up with (sometimes they do pull back tho) and having Kaida as a support allowed them to play on the front without worry for this competition. Their and our compliments to Kaida isn't just empty words. I literally think he did so well with them than we all anticipated.
    Kanae being the leader is amazing too. Such a great leader at giving orders non stop and reading the atmosphere. Just like when they won the champion in 3rd round, he pulled them back instead of going aggressive. And then we have Kuzuha, their key player who get their kills and clutches when needed to. And he's also sub leader whenever necessary. Lastly, we have Kaida who supported them from the back. He's really good of being aware of his teammates' health, direction and have an instinct to when he have to go in front if he was needed on the front line to shield or attack. He made them feel safer to do what they needed to do.
    I swear I watched each of their pov on their champion in 3rd round. That dome saved them. Kaida knew he's going down and immediately dropped the dome in a good spot. Intentionally or not, it was great. When Kuzuha went down to the ground next to the downed Kaida, there were 2 players going at him, front and back The dome gave him time to recollect and not go down. When he was finishing the person behind him, Kaida, who was down, opened his shield because the other person was trying to shoot Kuzuha when he had his back on them to finish the other. He was also giving them informations to where the enemies were.. Then he blocked more shots for Kuzuha when Kanae helped him finish the other. And Kanae getting that last kill for them after the dome was gone gave them the champion is a nice touch for our leader. Ofc, their coach did amazing as well!
    Kaida, I'm proud of you.

      I hope they see all the supportive comments and realises how well they've done and how much they've improved. Honestly it hurts to see them like this, and hopefully Kaida isn't traumatised from tournaments again.

    • @Mullach21
      @Mullach21 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is such an great comment. ; ;
      Considering his history with the game and tournaments, it was a big thing for him to join another, but he, and ChroNoiR really gave their all!
      And thank you for highlighting Kaida's last dome in the championship round. I only realised how important that dome was in a subsequent rewatch and seeing the others perspective! It also provided Kanae perfect cover to sit up high on those boxes and be safe.
      And that's not even mentioning his amazing dome to save Kuzuha just a few minutes before hand! It showed just how much attention he was paying to everything going on around them. The word "dome" hadn't even left Kuzuha's mouth and Kaida was already in the process of throwing it. Kuzuha's health dropped some more right before the dome popped up. Things would have been pretty bad had Kaida not dropped that dome.
      @Celia Akashi I very much doubt Kaida will be traumatised again! This is like some sports anime where the protagonists lose, but they improve and come back to win the next time! Even though he was pretty shaken up and upset (pain ; ;), 100% he only reacted that way because of how much fun, passion, and excitement he felt playing with Kanae and Kuzuha!

    Hngh I watched their scrims since day 1 and it truly shows that they really did their best, it's also amazing how Kaida was able to keep up with Kuzuha and Kanae.
    Their loss was frustrating but despite that I'm glad that they had fun.
    Also, I'm really glad that Kaida decided to join (thank you Chronoir, I never thought I'll see Kaida in another tournament again ;_;)
    I'll miss this team so much, I hope to see them play again, I'm so proud of this team!!

    it hurts to see them so frustrated, especially after we watched how much they practiced and how hard they worked. kanae and kuzuha will use their regret here to fuel themselves to get stronger because, after years of watching them, we know how competitive they can get even if it's against themselves. and i am so so proud of kaida because he grew by leaps and bounds in this one tournament alone; thanks in part to coach vodka's encouragement, kanae's complete trust in him when giving directions, kuzuha's praises no matter how roundabout they seem, the support from his fans, and mostly because of his very own efforts
    i'm really glad they had vodka who stayed with them until the end and never gave up on them. they'll always be the champion in our hearts. i'll be looking forward to seeing them all play together again 💙💖

    They must've felt super frustrated and disappointed, They were so close! Everyone worked hard and did their best, especially kaida, he must have felt so much pressure because its only his second tournament and people has so much expectations with their team, the pressure must have been huge and yet he still played super well. ngl, I feel like crying when I hear haru cry too. They all did their utmost best so I hope they don't blame themselves too much

    Kaida really improved in this tournament. You can see the change on how he placed his domes, he's the real MVP on their champ round ಥ‿ಥ. I'm so proud of him. But no matter how you did your best, if you didn't win, only regrets lingers at the end ಥ_ಥ.

    I missed the last match because of work so I didn’t know how it ended until I saw Twitter, didn’t know it was this close though. Now I’m sad again, Kaida crying makes me wanna cry too. I thought seeing Kanae’s tweets was bad enough (I missed Kuzuha’s tweet) . They did so well though, it’s so unfortunate that it didn’t end like they had hoped. I hope they play again in another tournament and get the chance for revenge. But at least they seemed to have fun in the after party so I’m happy about that.
    Thanks for the translation!

    When i watched the custom, i just realized that all teams (20 teams) were really strong.. all of them were really strong.. so, i thought this is a tournament between a strong team to find the strongest team..
    Because all of the team were really strong, it already good and not that bad they got 5th place since this event was really hard and frustrated..
    I also so happy to see Kaida grows really well from the start till the end.. he played so good although this is his first tournament probably?..
    When i see all of them start blaming their self, i really wanna hug them tightly and say
    "It's okay. You can crying now, but remember, you already did a great job. Thankyou for all of your hard work. It was really fun, thankyou for making us happy. Thankyou for being stronger everyday.."
    Kaida-san, it's okay. If you really want to win, let's meet at the next season of v saikyou tournament? I can't wait to see the stronger Kaida on the next tournament..
    Ah, don't know why this event makes me really emo until now. I always wanna cry every time i talk about this event~
    Thankyou everyone~ let's support our sanbaga ᕙ (° ~ ° ~)

    Yeah i can feel the pain in his voice, and even kanakuzu really feel down. Kanakana blame himself too much because he's the one who must lead the team, but i hope from this they can learn more and get more better for the next apex turnament.
    I hope that idaharu will be join the next apex turnament too, he's really improved so much when idaharu playing together with kanakuzu.

    i was rooting for a lot of teams but mainly them and ARCSTARS, so i had like 4 streams on. tho i don’t understand japanese that much i could understand the gist of the situation by few words here and there. so seeing them frustrated when they’ve worked so hard shows how much vsaikyou means to them. wish they would play again as a team :( i miss ikemen3bagarasu already

    Awww they didn't do anything wrong, they already tried their best but it wasn't enough :(
    But you know what they say, you can't succeed in something without failing first, this might be an important lesson that will make them win the next tournament. At least I hope so ^^
