I don’t think the size and payload would be worth it when compared with the fuel usage. It can take some 17t of cargo, similar to a typical 737 or 320 payload weight, but at a much higher fuel usage and lower speed.
I am so jealous of everyone being able to fly in MSFS 2024, I have had since day one and I am yet able to make a single full flight without the software crashing. My PC Specs are AMD 7950X, 64gbit DDDR5, RTX 4090, so I think I have the hardware muscle to get the most out of the software. I have all but given up on 2024 now. I tried flying this and the A300 yesterday, never managed to get off the ground on any attempt. I wish they would release this version of A400M could be released for MSFS 2020 as I have no doubt it would quickly become my favourite to fly. It is a stunning aircraft.

How is it that the scenery on your end is different on mine such as the hangers and the static c-17 in play ?. On mine it’s just the generic aircraft occupying the scenery 😂
Hi Emanuel, as always - a great video! I have a question for you and others who fly the A400. I noticed that in sub zero conditions, the engines are not behaving "normally". The start sequence is not completed (Engines are not "Avail") and after landing in a sub-zero airport like Nuuk, the engines did not produce power beyond idle. I understand that turbo-prop engines are facing issues in cold weather but how do we solve that? Is the sim. simulate these conditions as well as recovery from those so we can operate in sub-zero conditions?

Hello Emanuel, Can you make a flight from Teheran to Dubai, please? For example with A310. There are different carriers which fly with A310 on this route IRL. This flight would be interesting, because there are very strong cross winds of more than 100 knots on cruise flightlevel. Also there are one or two jetstreams which you have to cross during the flight. The high elevation and terrain would make it challenging regarding departure and EO procedure. Last but not least, the NOTAMs mention GPS jamming/spoofing and anti missile systems which can be dangerous along the flight. It would be very interesting. Thanks in advance!

The A400M is one of the coolest planes in the air, and I'm surprised that there doesn't seem to be much talk of producing a civilian version.

It can take 37T, but yes it does not makes sense for the civilian world, the old -600ST and An-124s are sufficient for oversized loads.
Very good, I think Air Show Assistant is now Available for MSFS24, now you can do inflight refueling missions, give or receive fuel.

Might sound stupid (sorry), but do you have Anti Ice enabled? (I have never flown the A400M)
