  • I have never seen a yard with a PUBLIC NUISANCE NOTICE from the city until we passed by this yard one the way to big worms BBQ. This yard was completely out of control. It was TALL, THICK, and I got stuck a few times. The neighbor came by and told us something pretty spooky so stay tuned for that!!!

You are 100% right. It is very hard on the equipment. What most people don't really realize how expensive it is to maintain your equipment. I know bcuz I do field mowing out in the country where I live. I mow properties from 2 acres & up. Their weeds are as tall as those & sometimes taller. So not only is there the expense in gas. But there's things like oil, filters, blades, belts & so much more that needs to constantly be kept up. But most of all it is very time consuming & hard work. So thank you for seeing what many people don't usually see or understand. Also kudos to you good kind hearted ❤ gentlemen. Thank you for giving back to you community. God Bless you all

It will get messed up if you put the deck to the ground. They make different decks, and blades for this type of stuff. If he has the right mower deck or even the right blades it won't mess up anything. I do this all the time and my mower and deck are not beat up in any way.

Agreed. The two of 'em doing that has drastically increased the likelihood that a house flipper, contractor, or over-zealous average person will purchase the property. Cities don't earn property tax on vacant lots, yo. By clearing this miniature jungle, it'll entice someone to purchase the house, thus getting it back to a livable state and restoring the city's revenue flow from that particular property. The mayor and the city are directly benefitting from their work.

Not too bad of an area for being considered the hood. I helped an uncle clean up the yards of HUD homes in Detroit back in the 70s. The grass and weeds were nearly head-high and you couldn't go 3 feet without running into some large object. If it existed it was in those yards. Great work. I would've been nervous to be out there mowing and working alone in that creepy lot. Your Assistant/helper is doing a great job running around making your job and filming easier. Also, I'm sure that it's helpful for security to have 2 people on the job vs. One.
    Great job! Keep it up!

When I had to give up working due to my health I spent as much time as I could working in my yard. Now that I am to feeble to do it my husband tried to keep it up but he works so many hours at his job plus he has to do everything else cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc that he rarely has time and energy left over for outside work. Then a couple of hurricanes came through and messed things up really bad that he lost the will to even try any more. I really wish people like yourself would help us but you're a rare breed and may God bless you for the rest of your natural life and into eternity. For all those you've helped, Thank you! May God make more people like you who are willing to help just for the sake of helping.❤
