I was born in Seattle in the early sixties, my parents bought a new house on 263rd pl, We moved to California in around 1970. I remember 5 feet of snow at Christmas time. My parents had a new VW bus, and we went to mt rainier quite often. My dad worked for Boeing. My mom wanted warmer weather. California in the 70’s and 80’s was beautiful. Had a great childhood.

Try driving in rush hour downtown Kent when a train goes though and backs all the traffic up.
Only good thing is easy access to a lot of businesses, like Trader Joes, Costco, Home Depot. Everything else sucks.
