  • This is footage of the Montana Department of Livestock's annual Yellowstone National Park buffalo harassment, paid for by us -- U.S. taxpayers. Buffalo were forcibly removed from public lands where no cattle are ever present. These harmful and unnecessary actions not only hurt buffalo, but cause tourists and locals to have to watch out for buffalo crossing busy highways. After the hazers chased the buffalo off the ground they chose to be on, the buffalo fled and across US Highway 191. Even though the hazers were responsible for this, none of them cared to warn traffic. Luckily BFC was there with our road signs to help alert motorists. The irresponsible actions of these hazers could have gotten someone killed.

BFC needs to speak to Western Watersheds in Idaho and see if they can lease the land for the buffalo just like they do for cattle. Then no one can remove them from the leased allotments. It is a shame the hazers weren't more prepared with signs to help the people traveling the highways. BFC took the correct action with being prepared. Go BFC!

Good job by the Cowboys, no people and no animals harmed. Thanks to all of them and the hunters in the West for helping preserve and conserve all the animals and habit for our future generations to enjoy.

What the problem here. All they did was more a herd from one pasture area to another. No harassment at all. You move cattle when it's necessary, why not the buffalo conservation herds?
None of these animals were threatened or injured.
