Wunderschöne und lebhafte Interpretation dieser einzigartig konstruierten Sonate im gut phrasierten Tempo mit mildem Ton der genialen Flöte und schimmerndem Klang der ebenso genialen Harfe. Der zweite Satz klingt besonders schön und echt lyrisch. Der intime und perfekt balancierte Dialog zwischen den beiden Virtuosen ist wahrlich ergreifend. Einfach wunderbar!

This is a fine work, but there are tons of composers who have written lyrical, consonant music from 1937 to the present day. What are you talking about?

@@towardthesea_ traditional melodies were strictly forbidden in music conservatories once the 12 tone system arrived - a great genius like Rachmaninoff, for instance, was severely criticized by the music establishment because he refused to stop writing beautiful romantic music

@@VallaMusic No, they weren't - in fact, in Russia as well as countries like Sweden, Finland, Mexico, the UK, Japan, Brazil, and much of Eastern Europe, tonal music was the dominant force and most types of modernism were frowned upon for several decades. There were so many famous composers from this period who never even dabbled in dodecaphony - I suggest you read up on Western music history from this period and open your ears more.
