    The fact that this kid went from playing at tables with horrible players in my home town at twin river casino to watching him stream his first bracelet into becoming a massive TH-cam poker star proves anyone can do it. This kid really studied the game and learned the right way to do it. Happy to see you’re doing good rampage

    That cash session was pretty much every session I play. Play a bunch of small to medium pairs, flop zero sets. Play big broadways, flop comes low and connected. Get a big pair, get coolered on the worst possible runout. And to top it all off you hit the 2nd nuts one time but you're up against the nuts, then you hit the nuts once in a multi-way pot and every single person folds to your 30% pot bet from the button. I've come to expect it. As much as I hate to say it though, it does feel good to see a vlogger run bad every once in a while. Watching people consistently luckbox it up is so tilting.

    I really hate that 97dd play. I don't know why you wouldn't want to check raise with a hand that doesn't block other or A5cc other combo draws/flush draws. Obviously if you get jammed on you don't realize but you have 1 player behind you and you get hands like 6x to fold. All in all I'd probably raise flop huge jam turn

    Sometimes it can be difficult to be thankful for what we have, when it is coming easily. That’s not to say that your not putting in the effort, as you surely are. It’s just that there are plenty of others that are as well, and not winning. I live a blessed life, and think the best I can do, as so much of it I didn’t earn, is to say and mean it with a heart full of please and thank you.
    Also, I would just suggest, that when you ask for advise in a major decision in your life, which can dictate the next ten or twenty years, don’t just listen to other people. There are many other forces out there rooting for you, and to them the things that are important, are your personal growth and contributions to family and society. If you see large swings in the options ahead of you, it may be that those forces are speaking to you.
    In short, don’t think of it as a roller coaster, or necessarily an obstacle to overcome, but as an opportunity to learn something valuable which will help you be successful no matter which path you choose. I was watching Mariano, and he is winning consistently, but seems aware that much of it he didn’t earn. He is mentally anticipating the change in the weather, so it doesn’t catch him off guard. My guess is that mental preparation will see him through a downturn without a lot of the mental stress he would face otherwise.
    Likely a character trait he derived from a previous experience.

    Tournament poker: with the AA hand. You already have him heads up when he 3 bets. 4 betting makes you play the rest of the hand face up. If you had a caller between you and the 3 bet it would make more sense to 4 bet. In this instance, take the flop for 4k and and then play fairly agressively unless the board is connected.

    • @bertrandrustled9433
      @bertrandrustled9433 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @melansonrobert12
      @melansonrobert12 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bertrandrustled9433 you're essentially playing your life in every hand in a tournament. If you cant get him to a shove preflop it's almost safer to take a cheaper pre flop and navigate the board rather than over committing and in this case making it almost obvious what you have..
