What about chorea/ballismus type movements that happen randomly only a few times later in the day? Like more sporadically? Plus some mild tremor here and there most days. What could cause that? I’ve been experiencing this for a few weeks as a female in my late 20s. My doctors and even my psychologist for depression/OCD have ruled out rheumatic fever and Wilson’s Disease. I have severe fatty liver with very little scarring, and other chronic symptoms that closely relate to Sjogren’s, but only have very mild positive ANA and lip biopsy was negative. Waiting to see neurology in a month and a half. Only taking duloxetine 60mg, lansoprazole 30mg, and prenatal vitamin daily. *not seeking a diagnosis or medical advice, just wondering what disorders could hypothetically cause things like this*

@@Yankit-mp1fs My psychiatrist and I decided to try lowering my Duloxetine dose, after all my tests were coming back neg, and sure enough the spasm greatly reduced and almost went away. I had also been doing TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) treatments for depression, so they both could have been exasperating my symptoms. Im now on 30mg of Duloxetine instead of 60mg, and haven’t had spasms for a couple months. Look up Tardive Dyskinesia. It’s more common with medications for Parkinson’s, and I think long term use of benzodiazepines, but more rare with the medication I am taking. Honestly though, once we ruled out scary things, when the spasms would hit, it kind of was funny to me and I got used to them being there. Now I oddly kind of miss them. I mean there were times when they definitely were super embarrassing though haha. I hope you are able to figure your situation out, and that it isn’t something severe. Take care!
