So for what I understood you got 2 e46 equal shafts cut them and joined together? and the splines on the top are the same as on the bottom, just to be right the splines on the end of the steering collumn are the same as the ones of the steering rack?

part of me really wants to hate on you younger guys with such cool toys, but I am going to assume you busted ass to get them. So instead I will just enjoy the show and info. Would the same parts be adaptable to an E30?

It's a cool toy, but it's relatively cheap compared to a nice new car. I think you can do the same shaft in an E30.
