I, too, have been making an Everyday Cleaner using Dawn, for years! Although, I add a few Tblsp of (usually green) rubbing alcohol. The alcohol allows the Dawn Solution to dry faster and without the stickiness. It also helps to sanitize the cleaning surface. ♡♡

If I use the got water at my sink, I always run the cold afterwards, so I don't get burned or noone else burns themselves next time they turn on the faucet

You need to wet the center of the suction cups in order to stay put.😅

What about using the command strips on the sponge holder suction cups? Or just taking off the suction cups entirely and just using command strips on the sponge holder directly?

Great tips Liz. I use a water, dish soap and essential oil mixture as well. I find if I fill the bottle up with water first and then add the soap/oil it won't foam up.😉

I use white vinegar and dish soap and I too, fill with the vinegar first to avoid foaming.

@@lizfenwickdaily The reason I use white vinegar is to combat hard water spots around my faucets, the drip tray on my fridge's water dispenser, and the heating element in my dishwasher. I even use it as a fabric softener in my laundry to help break up any hard water build up in my washing machine.
