My Dollar Tree never has the spackling. Drives me crazy! My local store is horrible about not getting out products on the shelf.

I've seen things you have got at Dollar Tree was thinking of doing something similar to what you did and sometimes using it for something else. We have three DTs near here in different directions so I went online to see what stores might have the items. Unfortunately, I won't be getting anything from them, for 2 reasons. 1/ See if I order online I have to buy a full case, so this will only work on things I could use 12, 15, 24 or 48. Only so many things I could use that number of the same thing. But I did find something that came in a case of 15, that I could use. 2/ Not one of the 3 stores near me has them, nor can I have the case delivered to any one of the stores. On top of that, I can't order them to be delivered to my home direct. I checked the website for 6 other items and five of them were the same way. The one other said I could have them shipped by UPS for $18.99, the case cost $18.75. So these items would no longer be $1.25. I'm sure I could go to Walmart and find similar sites for less than $2/50 each, so maybe I'll just do that.

So you can get candle wicks with stick on tabs, you peel and stick them right on to the bottom of wick and then stick to bowl/glass wherever, Before you pour wax. You don't want the wicks floating around like that because it creates air pockets in your candle after your pour. It makes for uneven pour and holes in the top rather than smooth finish. Once your wax has melted, turn off heat, wait a few mins, then add scent and stir well, it will make for a well blended good pour.
