@Aurockson well, to be fair adhd doesn't mean being very hyper all the time, it's when your brain is incapable of deciding what it focuses on to the point that it makes your life more difficult, and doug seems to be doing just fine on that front (speaking as a person who does have adhd)

I perfectly understand that the Pokémon one is probably much much harder to one that didn't play the game, but it was painful in more ways than that. For example, when he said that the cherry thing would have a name with cherry but then didn't try to go for it when presented with the names Cherubi or Cherrim. Or how he could have told many of them just by the name and appearance being similar to a (pre)evolution but he wasn't paying attention at all. He could have told many of the gen 1 evos just by the name and colors being similar.
I imagine it's a lot like trying to play a game of memory. you're just keeping so much in your head that it becomes too much. plus keep in mind, guy's got to keep things generally interesting, and peering at each image to decide which one looks like togepi takes a while and isn't fun to watch for most people

I completely don't understand people who say that having troubles focusing on things you are not interested in is "EXACTLY WHAT ADHD IS". Literally all people have troubles focusing on stuff they're not interested in, that's like the definition of engagement. Yes, some have better self control and discipline to force themselves into staying focused or doing something but it's harder to focus on stuff you don't care about for everyone. When your focusing troubles harm your life in a serious way - that is a problem, and you should work on your health for your own good.

I know one person that has verified ADHD and her behaviour is completely different. I can especially see that in comparison to myself because I have OCD and focus on things way too much.

The only real way to know if you have ADD/ADHD is to see your doctor. Signs/symptoms don't mean you have ADHD. You dont have ADHD/ADD until you get a diagnosis from a doctor.

I just want to say that even though you definitely obviously aren't a Pokemon fan, there were still several moments where you should've gotten it but didn't, like when you got Mothim and went "Oh, this must be a moth" and then proceeded to click the one right next to the moth, got it wrong, then went "wait, how was that not it?" Very cringe inducing, if I may say so myself.

Most people have a hard time focusing on different situations. ADHD always has a hard time focusing no matter the situation unless it's a hyper focus trigger.
The important thing is it's not just a focus thing. It's literally how the brain processes information that's different.
Doug made an entire video ranking fidget toys so I have trouble believing he doesn't have ADHD but I'm not that invested in it anyway

The very idea that people can regularly have a set of behaviors or thinking patterns that are unchanging and classifiable across all situations is ridiculous. That's the kind of thinking that governments created exclusively to put people in easily sortable boxes. A buzzfeed quiz is functionally identical to a doctor's diagnosis on most mental "disorders": a series of generalizing questions that are impossible to answer honestly and lead vunerable people to assume there's something non-specifically wrong with them.
I'm of the opinion that a general diagnosis is often unhelpful, as it frequently glosses over someone's individual struggles in favor of giving them a label.

its Atention Seeking disorder or Histrionic Disorder
A lot of people don't understand that mental disorders aren't a yes/no binary, they're a bell curve. It is very normal to experience some traits which are associated with ADHD (or pretty much any mental illness). It becomes a disorder when you experience so many symptoms that it interferes with your normal day to day functioning.
FWIW as someone with ADHD I don't think Doug has it. Some of his behavior is certainly relatable, but that doesn't automatically mean it he has it.
@@FalseHerald not only that, disorders aren’t JUST behaviors or lists of symptoms either. There’s physical differences in peoples brains, like the hippocampus being smaller in depressed people. it’s not just a quirky label to throw around because someone overlaps slightly (because if you read out symptoms of any disorder it’s kinda just human behavior. Like “feeling sad” or “not focusing” or “rapid changes in mood”)
and doing that undermines the people who actually deal with it
