I can’t tell which one I like more they both sound dope, although dreams of roses gives of a trio song vibe, while Bara no Yume gives a slightly more sinister vibe, like Monika and Senpai are seriously fighting for that mic

This is an unpopular opinion, but I honestly prefer the new one due to the fact that it sounds like a build up to something much worse happening, and gives a feeling of “hold up, something ain’t right here” (as does every game that includes Monika in it) and it’s almost like an appetiser to the third song.

I genuinely love Bara No Yume. It’s a really good song in my opinion, and while it’s sad they’re removing the old one, I can understand they wouldn’t want to keep it after what the creator of it did.

There's no point in arguing, I just hope this isn't the last time they updated the mod and that they actually add a new 2nd song. What made dreams of roses special was because of its fast paced rhythm and they utilised Senpai's voice more. In the new version Senpai doesn't sing as much and notes drastically shift between going to the last phase and mid phase. Basically imagine jumping in Roses from the first verse to the spammy part immediately that's what they did hear its just a mishap of the song and nothing flows good. I'd prefer if this song was faster and it utilised Senpai's vocals otherwise deleting Senpai's vocals from this song wouldn't have changed it at all because they're placed there purely because there's a model of Senpai in game and they didn't wanna redo it with Monika being pissed off
If people are wondering why Dreams Of Roses was taken down from the mod its because the. Composer of the song was dating a minor so they decided to scrap the song and make a new one

Dreams of Roses is a remix of the original Roses. That’s the whole point of the song. It’s Monika trying to sing her second song while Senpai is trying to sing his. I don’t know what the actual fuck they were thinking with the other song but it sounds absolutely nothing like Roses aside from simply having some of the notes from Roses. Regardless of drama, we can all agree the original is infinitely better than this piece of dogshit they replaced it with.

I think if the new song was another level after the old Dreams of Roses song it would be perfect. Perfectly symbolizes the beginning of Monica’s descent into madness setting up the epic climax of Just Monica’s “Your Demise” battle. The new one becomes trash if you compare it to the old one. Both songs are so vastly different that it becomes justified to hate the new one if you’re trying to compare it to the old when in reality both are really good.
I like Bara no Yume since it feels like a boss fight. (In case if you're wondering why the song got replaced, Raven admitted to dating a 15 year old even though she is a grown adult.)

Honestly I like the new one a lot more. It feels more like a story is being told about these two arguing over the mic. The old one was just...slamming two different game songs together with VERY little changes. Which works, but not that well in my opinion. The new one feels like a proper blend of the two with plenty of original bits to add to the feeling that something just isn’t right lore-wise, and I love that.

La verdad Bara no yume le da seriedad a la pelea de Senpai y monika y Dreams of Roses es como un remix de Roses pero tambien esta bien la cancion aunque en mi opinion Bara no yume es mejor
I really like the new one, it sounds epic, but I agree with some of the people that said it was better to put both songs with the old one being infront of the new one it shows monika's path to loosing it and deleting everyone

The old one is better sure the creator did some bad things but the new one sounds a lot more loud and crunchy not very leveled the new is kinda ear piercing to me but that's just me.
Fun fact: bara no yume means means Rose dream in Japanese
The new one sounds like it would be a final song the old one fits more for a second song
Giving my honest opinions:
Bare No Yume isn't bad at all , i love the song and the groove of the music, but I think Dreams of Roses will fit so much better in the Monika Mod, wondering why they changed it to Bara No Yume, LOL, but overall, both songs are very spectacular!
