It's perfect unsettling like I imagine the skinwalker would be and speech pattern all messed up because skinwalkers imitate the voices of their victims so this is unsettling but in a good way
I believe that the protagonist does love her and wants to stay with her, but I also believe that he's staying to keep everyone else safe as well. He's the only being that can tell Miss Skinwalker to not kill a hiker and actually be listened to. He's like an unsung hero.

Typically the Skin-walker is a person who started out as a medicine man or woman but became obsessed with Dark Magic and becomes a witch. Eventually they decide they want ultimate power and so they do a ritual that requires them to murder a close family member. Once they do that they become a monster that can shapeshift into animal forms and feeds on humans.
I love the sound design you put in your videos! It really makes me feel like I'm in another environment and the immersion. Also, skin walker gf is precious 🖤
I get that it's a minor detail, but damn, those cabin noises are impressive. When they first went in, I was like "NUH UH A REAL CABIN HAS A CREAKY ASS FLOOR." And then... there was a creaky ass floor. Awesome job, ambience is so damn good.
Traversing the Navajo wastes , unknown mysteries and noises makes the skin crawl, and I crawl to the special walker of the Forrest and the world between worlds. I read all the books she wants.
I think it's just amazing how you can pluck a monster or mythological creature and just turn them into either the most adorable thing ever, or the most wholesome or just going for outright terror or all of them! the variety is just amazing and you are so talented!
Oh my, you did fantastic with this audio! You obviously put in a ton of work with the sound design and sourcing extra voices, but you made it so warm and loving, even beyond what you usually do. While I've listened to a lot of ASMR/roleplay content on this website, I really only listen to four other VA's - regularly - that do ASMR and/or roleplay audio videos on TH-cam. While just about everyone I listen to has some serious talent, or is slowly but surely "getting there," you've managed to not only blow it out of the water each time you upload, but your brand of content is almost always something new I've yet to see. Or at least done in a way I've yet to see. You take tropes or commonly used archetypes and turn them on their head and it's fucking awesome! (Also, I don't know anyone that does foley audio as well as you do! Let alone the artwork done for the thumbnails!) I may not have been here since the beginning, but it's been such a treat to be here and watch you grow. Thank you for all that you do, Mother!

It’s why I’m always out in the woods, why I’m always thinking about what I’m doing for dinner from the wilderness instead of a supermarket. I never liked how crowded and noisy cities are, so I moved to the suburbs, but those had so much drama! There was never a moment’s peace in that place, someone always had to ruin it because their stuff wasn’t where it belonged or someone couldn’t be happy with who they’d lived with and wanted to make it everybody else’s problem…so I moved out to the country and I could’ve sworn it was perfect. I could’ve sworn that I was happy, that there wasn’t anything better than living in a farmhouse surrounded by livestock and crops…but I was wrong. I was so wrong! There were so many rules, so many things in the way, so many ways things could go wrong. I lost my entire harvest, I lost every animal I ever raised, my house got taken away because I couldn’t keep up with the demand of handling the farm *and* my house at the same time…So you can imagine what I was going through when I wandered into the woods, how I felt about everything that I was stuck with. You can imagine how much more I knew that there are things older, hardier, wilder than even the dinosaurs in our wilderness….and how much I wanted to see if they had the answer to my question: how can I be happy? What’s more, you can’t even *begin* to know how happy I was when I actually found her! I watched her fill the sky with her feathers, felt her tarsus wipe the tears from my eyes, saw the compassion in those gems of eternity…And I knew I’d found happiness! I found her! I found my place in this world, safe from the bullshit you’d find in concrete cages filled with metal bison and blinding lights! I found *her* and we don’t like it when people are in our forests… *We* don’t like it…when *your* kind are in our home! So, I’m gonna tell you campers a little secret~! Skinwalkers are born like us, they think, they breathe and eat and die like us…but they don’t stay dead. They don’t come back like a zombie, they don’t keep alive with blood like vampires and they sure as shit don’t work like the Wendigos of yorr…Skinwalkers *are* !They just keep going! They never stop living, they’re one with their land! Judging from the radio broadcast at the beginning, we're the survivalist that went missing. I'd assume the protagonist ran into her while he was out practicing his bushcraft and since he didn't immediately try to attack or flee from her, she started talking to him. It certainly would be interesting to get the whole picture.
I wish the skinwalker who trapped me in my bedroom was this wholesome instead of constantly talking in my family members' voices constantly tormenting me and reminding me of the night it killed my whole family in the most brutal way possible...
Mother macabre was already adorable as is but somehow her not forming complete sentences and talking in this form of baby talk made her even more adorable.
Another glorious performance, truly something that is undoubtably a work of verbal art. Audio like this is of the highest caliber of voice acting, truly magnificent.
Wont deny that at first I thought this was a part 2. Part of me now can't help but want a prequel of this, so we get to know how the two met and find out how this skinwalker fell in love with the human.
Seeing a lot of other folks compliment the sound design and I’m going to too as usual. I know the editing is probably the most pain the ass thing about these videos but the end product is really well done. It makes for a great listening experience, which is the point. Skinwalkers are monsters that stalks groups of humans in the woods mainly, and when a straggler leaves the group it eats them and becomes them, repeating the phrase said human last said before death. There are stories of them getting in someones car after their friend got out to use the bathroom in the woods for example. To this day it's the creepiest creature I've ever heard of.
