I've seen some people complain about the first touch of their players. Maybe they've been using sharp touch by accident the whole time.

No its not that, it is still super bad first touches often, it is a lack of animations.
Sometimes when i want to control the ball and do a 180 for a first touch, it gives me a 120 degree angle.

For me, the defenders has a very bad first touch. That's when I'm defending with full sprint and using the left analogue stick like when I'm defending a counter. And immediately after regaining possession, the defender does a sharp touch. I think this should be fixed.

First touch are problem even Messi 99 ball control cant make normal first touch it takes to much time. Devs should fix it because now you cant dribble, always loosing ball for opponent who sprints random in full speed and faster changing directions then dribbler. I liked game in beginning when players with ball had more control and there was no hold sprint and intercept ball 100%

Love the sharp touch you can really put together some nice moves with it. Works well on wings when you want to cut inside

Spoony when i try to switch player it does not work, but when i release the sprint button it does

Great feature however when defending, this feature becomes tidous to the point that it works against you. Do not think that it is working correctly is some scenarios. Scenario: You're defending against a long ball or through pass and your opponent miscontrols it or the strikers' animation is to let the ball go behind him. Me as a defender, i'm eyeing the fact that my opponent is going to recieve the ball and turn to my right or left. I suddenly get the ball to my feet unexpectedly and will do the 'sharp touch' facing goal side. At that point, the opponent's striker has already recovered from the previous animation, making his player dashing in full speed while my player is in no mans land.

We all did at some point. I only had a real strong focus on skills in 2017 cuz the game was too easy and wanted to learn a new aspect. Then when 2018 dropped the gameplay was MUCH slower and skills became even easier so timing was no longer an issue.

in efootball pes 21, you can also double press the dash button upon receiving a pass and a similar animation and function is performed. it is much smoother than this

So, this is the "sharp touch"... It's the same as in previous PES editions. I used it a lot for body feints and sharp direction changes, with good results. Useful when you advance, with the risk of losing easily the ball, as you struggle to get it. Don't use it when your oppoent has better dribble, speed and ball control stats. Have a nice time.

It was automatic in previous Pes games, sometimes your player does it,some times they don't,it all depends on the situation. Most of the controls in efootball were controls in Pes made manual

Could you please do a tutorial with other skill moves like double touch for example. And show your actual hands (as implied in the thumbnail), instead of just showing the virtual pd on the screen. Thanks
