Doing bits with the editing spoony and this is a polished video. If i could dribble like that the game would be a dream but cant get used to R2 dribbling 🤦♂️ stuck in the PES days

Fantastic stuff, excellent editing, great info! Very dribble centric player myself, hardly any of my opponents are utilizing r1+r2 dribbling with varying sprint speeds and gentle touches on the left stick along with super cancel. Absolutely essential for my game. Dribbling has never been better, loving it!
Also the reason why they are "frozen" is because everybody is always using matchup,using it at the wrong time,not anticipating a fake shot which makes the players stuck in a blocking animation. If you play against someone that fully understands the game's mechanics, dribbling like this wont be this easy,trust me

Your tips are just amazing! Hope they'll improve my game. I find it very difficult for me to drible diagonally, cause a use de D pad.
You need to make adjustments. Endure the pain of learning left stick, take the losses my dude because in the long run, you'll unlock far more potential.

First tip i learned suddenly when playing. I used Pedri first time, watching my opponent's movements. Next thing i was dribbling everyone. I was like woah. The first tip is so important you can literally beat everyone on pitch and place a simple throughpass and score. I have done this a lot of times. Plus the r2 or right bumper (not sprint button)
On another note, everything he says is just perfect. I have dribbled crazily using all these tips even before this video.
so you use R2 for close control which he mentions in the video. I am glad i came thru ur comment, cos i was kinda confused whether he meant the spring button or the other, cos in efootball they changed the spring button which was R1 to R2. thank you in advance

Nice video, great tips. Surprised you didn't include scissors feint as it grants you the possibility to quickly and effectively (and stylishly) change direction in unpredictable manner - different angles.. I use it frequently - “ankle breaker” 😉

Been enjoying the step over feint with players like antony, leao and rashford. Its finally not just a slow mo step over, but is actually usefull now for quick direction change.

Also, what's the best way to cut inside the 18-yard box when my attacker is dribbling foward on the side of it?
Attacking tutorial will come after my defending tutorial. I find using the RB/R1 to 170 degrees (not quite 180) with the right player and build to cut inside works for me. Cut behind and turn skill works nicely if they have sole control as well (shoot and pass and change dir to activate)

Finally spoonzy,this is what ive been telling you about efootball,its always been there. Last efootball post you said what did they do to efootball and i said nothing changed, finally you see how enjoyable the game can be once you fully master the dribbling,its been like this since v1.0
Good vid with some nice insights. When performing tight turns and close control with small LS movements am I holding R1 down whilst turning or tapping it?
Thanks dude. Tapping, very briefly. Almost when you feel like you're going to lose the ball, move L-stick and hit R1 and as soon as you touch the ball you can release it.

How to do a finesse dribble (move the ball backwards with the soles of your feet)?
They extended Season 2 until Dec 7 now. Perhaps they want time to polish release an offline modes DLC before Xmas...hopefully

Definitely worth a try, the AI MUCH improved on Legend difficulty. Not cheating/scripting, difficult but fair.
Hi Spoony, i use r1 for dash, r2 special controls, l1 cursor change.
Which buttons do i press for dribbling?
R2 but definitely best to switch as you can run at different speeds.

The pull back for free kick does angle matter, I saw you pull a down left sort of angle?

The pull back is for the curve when the player takes the kick the ball will curve to the left,like messi free kicks
Pulling down on the stick results in a strike that's a little softer with more top spin, use this closer to the box to get it over the wall and dip into the goal. Pushing up on the stick results in a more driven shot with more power, better from longer range. Hope this helps
The angle is to curl the ball, so make sure you're hitting it with the inside of the players foot.
@@zmightycheebalike he said....the difference I've noticed is a lot less dip and more power now, so even 25-30 yards the pull back method is working

edit: felix feels good as a dribbler, and instead of chiesa i use gabriel strefezza - 3 star gem from brazil, build him like Frede and he will be equally valuable !

heyyo@@SpoonyPizzas, you might wanna check out also 3-star Nuno Santos as LMF, clinical cross-spammer for LBC playstyle. As for forwards, I have other 2 extremely talented 3-stars : *drum noise* P. DAKA and Carlos BACCA ! My word, these guys are game changers. Use them either in starting lineup or sub. The GP versions are like pearl at the bottom of the ocean!
Mate I bought chiesa and went and smashed a team of 100s he score 3 easy goals but I scored 4 hard working sweating hands goals. It was SIMLYWHYNOT he's 9th in the all time league
When are we getting ML and edit mode?

The dribbling is arguably the best thing in efootball when compared to PES.

Looks great. Problem is none of this works at all with the input lag online. Before the player has performed the command, no matter how fast you press the controller, you’ve been closed down and had the ball taken. Lag basically destroys what could be a fantastic game. I keep playing in the hope that Konami sort this out.

The ultimate dribbler in my team is NC Pedri. extremely nimble, he has low center of gravity, I set him with high tight possession, dribbling, acceleration, stamina & balance, he is a dribbling monster.
I discover something recently, I only play possession, it means you must hold the ball extra than the other playstyle, dribbling is one of the best ways to hold the ball.
Since I dribble alot with my players both online and offline, I wondered why some players like Pedri, Neymar, Vini Jr, J Felix, all these players have slightly different dribbling animation, all the players tend to dribble more effective and escape from tackles easily (I often use close control dribbling with slight tilt on LS).
at first, I thought it was player ID, then I realized, these players have sole control (Neymar has hidden sole control), sombrero and trickster AI playing style.
I experiment by giving Messi sole control and sombrero, BOOM now my Messi moves like Pedri. extremely effective to beat any defenders if you like close control dribbling like me.
Next one is M. Diaby, a speedster, I gave him additional sombrero and flip flap skills to make him moves like Neymar, now he perform better than Neymar.
The other one is Bernardo Silva, gave this player sole control and double touch, this player moves different, since Bernardo Silva doesn't have Trickster, I came to conclusion an AI Playing Style "Trickster" means something.
Great write up, I never thought the AI styles have an impact but since using Marran (see my previous video), you'll notice a player with no stats at all but Incisive Run could be having an impact to his movement. Very interesting tbh

Ok first install FL2024 to a new folder. Goto stadium's folder within and rename it to stadiums-backup. If you have FL23 copy sideraddons folder across to FL24. Open sider.ini - make sure if says FL.2024.EXE instead of FL2023.EXE. Launch and you're good to go. Dw about patreon mate. Enioy

Ahhh damn, I'm not too sure about AMD GPUs. I always stick with Nvidia as they tend to work better with Unreal engine and AMD works better with the other gfx engine (forget name now) but most of my games I play are on unreal

The more you hold it the faster your player runs,learn to hold it slightly and combine it with your left stick,learn to use it to slow down and your dribbling will be 100 times better. Also learn to use it to come to quick stop and then move again,this helps a lot

Yessss...but if you release all controls it'll stop your player dead and turn to face goal. If the ball is loose you'll see Garnacho use the shot cancel but no L-stick movement as he stops dead and no lengthy turning animation allowing me to double touch past the defender

Im glad rb and adaptive left stick dribbling, and adaptive sprinting are things. Nudge dribble(half sprint) is super useful when you’re 1v1 with anyone, keeper included. They can be very finicky online as input delays absolutely kill their usefulness at times. That’s when the mindless football starts to take over. Sad shame because week 1 of ‘24 was excellent and none of the problems that plagued ‘23 were present. It’s about half as good as it was upon launch at present.

Spoony, I keep putting headers wide... What am I doing wrong? I've got a decent Target man, but he misses a lot. I play on stadium cam.
Try using stunning headers. Also, does the striker have fox in the box (probably best for headers tbh). Check out my video on Cano - I think I covered this in a video about fox in the box.

If tight possession is for slow dribbling and the dribbling stat affects fast movements dribbling what does the ball control stat affect?
How well and quickly they can control the ball when receiving a pass, also any skills are linked to this too

Because the in game definition of ball control says how well the player controls the ball in general, its very broad and I am confused what that means

The rb button for dribbling seems a bit of a myth, there's nothing in the settings about it right?
It definitely has an effect, now even when from a walking pov. Idk why...but without it....none of this is possible
@@SpoonyPizzas I sometimes use the L1 button during dribbling and even though it probably does nothing, most times it feels like it helps me.

Did anyone notice that when you create a friendly dream room, the opposing team has less stamina for all players at the beginning of the game? Is this a bug? I cannot find any options for that. It doesn't seem fair. Stamina for both opponents should be at the same level, but it's not. Away players get tired faster because of that.

Anyway, it was a great informative video, but on online, dribbling is really tough, becuase there is too much input lag! Only thing you can do is pass pass pass and pray it reaches the player.
