Mate so I wasn't gonna say anything, but in the last video the car has been recalled. Shown by the round coolant bottle. If the recall was carried out too late then it's likely the head gasket/head was already damaged. You'll need a new engine at this point, the cylinders will be ovaled. This all happened to mine.
HEY dude! :) OG Listen to this guy because he know's his stuff. He's had first hand experience with these engines. I bet it's been leaking coolant some where. I bet previous owners ragged this car before it had the recall and the damage is already done and it only will get worse with time. Luckily enough you can get these engines quite easily but be careful if you do. Don't go looking for bargin engines as it will be another of the same. If you do get another and fancy going track car then perhaps look at lined cylinders atleast. That should keep you good upto 300 - 330 ish bhp perhaps 350 at a push after that you will be looking at forging the engine. Also don't let this put you off, if the engine has been well looked after and maintained these engines are quite reliable for the amount of power they kick out. It's the previous owners who ragged it about screaming SEEENNNNDDD IT and running dirty oil because they spent all their pennies on VPower and skipped the 5-7k oil change interval.
The water pump impellor will be snapped. some people don't put enough antifreeze in after timing belt and water pump replacement. If the coolant freezes in the block overnight, in the morning you start the car and the water pump shaft that connects to the impellor inside the block twists off as its frozen solid.Or it can just twist off from torque of engine sometimes. if you open the timing belt cover it will still be spinning and you.ll think its ok, but it's not spinning on the inside of block. You need to run it up to temp and look into the coolant bottle and you should see the top pipe inside pumping water back to bottle, if not its defo water pump. Other then that it could be a dodgy head gasget, or water temp sensor.
Legend1518 the belts on these don’t get changed till 120k+ miles, or 10 years. These had a recall for the coolant system and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s one of the cars that is due it but hasn’t had it done yet or did have it done but they never bled the system properly.
@@scotthastings8845 You'd know if you didn't bleed the system properly as it would overheat from the get go and you'd have no hot air inside the car. Did you get a 4 wheel alignment.? Get it on a hunter machine or similar to check everything is straight from its crash history. It also should never overheat so there's an issue and likely to be related to the recall.
What year is the car? The 13 plate models suffered massively with head gasket problems due to a fault in the cooling system there was a big re call on them might be worth checking to see if that one is affected
Make sure that it has the recall done with the coolant system. I'm also sure being low on fluids didn't help much either but these cars like to peg the temps and a mountune radiator will do you wonders.
I had a 63 plate model and it had a recall. Head gasket prone to overheating due to problem with coolant. Run it too long and you'll knack the engine. Just double check your vin and ensure it's not the same issue.
Try plugging an obd scanner in and seeing whether the steering angle sensor needs resetting. Quite common for people to forget it needs doing after tracking.
Hey bro, fellow st owner here. The pull to the left could be heavy torgue steer suggesting that it's been remapped (as mine does this but is modified ) , or a brake pad could be touching on one side . Loving the channel

The early cars suffered with clutch faults where the plate would disintegrate inside the box. I've noticed that your car has the latter coolant expansion tank which possibly means it's been in for a recall. And its 180bhp in 1 and 2 and 197 for 15 seconds in 3 and 4 .
Get the engine checked over by a specialist. Pre 2014 had the recall done for the coolant problem. Problem is if it had the recall done late in its life and was already tuned and ragged about it could have damaged it abit. Problem is alot of people put pedal to the metal and treat this car like crap. Don't maintain it and dont treat it right. That's why they have problems. You need to let the car warm up. Let the coolant get to 95 degrees then wait around 5-10 minutes to allow the oil to reach operating temps too then you can really give it some. You also have to keep on top of servicing such as oil changes. Running dirty oil can cause these engines problems you can get away with upto 10k miles on a stock car driving sensibly but if your giving it some it will be more like 7k miles. And if it's tuned id drop it even further to 5k-7k miles max. Don't let this put you off this car, it's just people don't look after them because they are cheap fun cars. You might need a new engine at this point but get it checked by a specialist. If the cylinders are ovaling then it can go two ways. Getting new cylinder liners or just a new engine. But careful picking up a new engine. Go cheap and get more of the same and buy twice. I've seen these cars hit 330BHP and be fine for 70k worth of miles at this stage. This is because the engine was well looked after and maintained.
The preface lift up to about mid 2014 were prone to overheating as the Coolant pipes cracked leading to the coolant quickly emptying and causing the head gasket to fail, but looking at yours you look to have the updated Coolant header tank so quite possible that it's been back to Ford for the recall.

I can rag my 1.0 like that and it doesn't get hot, seems like a problem with the cooling system.
Glad to see this gem of a car on your channel bro well done can't wait to see whats in store for it!! We love these cars down here in South Africa :D
Amazing sound quality, sick editing.
I’m not 100% sure on this however a lot of the fiesta st were recalled due to the coolant tanks so check if it’s been done
When man said 'launch pad' in the Golf video 😂😂😂
Fiesta St's are cool cars in my opinion but it's the owners that make me hate them. Driven by people in their late teens / early 20s after they get rid of their first car and get one on finance whilst still living at home ragging them around driving like dicks like they own the road.
And that's different to when you were younger is it?
