To add in more context about Mongolz run in Atlanta. -Mongolz didn't get visa until 72 hours before the tournament start -Had to split in different planes and 2 of them landed first then rest got stuck in New York. -13 hours jetlag with no rest -They had to win a match in this tournament so that they would get enough points to get invited to Katowice 2024.(ESL send direct invite to Asian top 1 team in their leaderboard)
It was crazy for me, I personally had never heard of Mongolz, but they really proved how amazing they are at play. I have to say one of my favorite teams to watch
@@storageman12 i used to play cs heavy back in 2015, this was my first in person tournament and the first time i had ever heard of Mongolz. Complexity in comparison to Mongolz, complexity has been around for a long time
They beaten Furia, C9, Pain, Imperial, Grayhound etc… when they was IHC esports. And they played very well against Navi, Faze, Fnatic and Liquid. Its not upset for me
Its honestly kinda getting annoying how many times people get shocked whenever the Mongolz(previously known as IHC) secure a win, just because they've never heard of them which is sort of funny when they have attended 3 majors and plenty t1 events, yet people still continue to have zero clue who they are smh.
Also the Mongolz had no rest, they weren't even sure they'd make into the match because of visa stuff.. But they took global 4th ranking team on their map with no sleep, rest, jetlag. They literally hopped off the plane and fked em up
Really good video and presented well. Hey MGLZ were pretty good though (I enjoyed their scrappy style too). Complexity is looking great and will be fine. I think when your playing a team that you don't know much about - it makes it much more difficult. It was sort of an upset but all of these players are really good. Thanks for posting!

"mongolz are just good blablabla" in reality coL just didn't play properly, no ideas, no smart flashes or smokes in the game vs mongolz, if you have any cs knowledge you would realize coL just didn't play that game the way they usually did
2023 was a excellent year for mongolz (ex-ihc). made their name in katowice when they beat furia and c9. nearly beat heroic when they were #1 in the world while having a 16 year old on the roster, and beating comp twice in atlanta. really looking forward to see how they do in katowice and esl pro league this year.
YEAH!!!! watch this live so fucking cool especially as a mongolz fan i kinda felt bad for betraying my country but worth it to destroy my vocal chords and hang out with the mongolian fans
IMO based on stats and results of matches played by Mongolz ,Asian playstyle against NA and S American playstyle works really well even mongolz almost wiped heroic by 2:0 still EU playstyle beats Asian playstyle
@@rush1937 i would have loved to see Mongolz in the finals, i think that Mongolz vs VirtusPro would have been a much better final. VP knocked them out in semi-finals tho :(

Fr fr they came as a group just hours before their first match with no proper rest
@@Ganaa23 that's insane. but chill out now bro. We all saw how they play their game
Mongolz have beat really good teams, and had a good major run recently. This isn’t a crazy upset!

th-cam.com/video/PL_Ipyfc1YI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=r5eVm87JET0OHRzn the game before theyve arrived in Atlanta making a cleann comeback from 10-2 versus Tyloo
never heard of mongolz is crazy thing to say for someone who knows col is good team

@@TheLeodyn though i'm chinese, have to say Mongolz is the strongest team in Asia for at least 2 yrs.
it would have been an upset if complexity won

They fucked them in 2 different games, best team at DH Atlanta imo
dont cry for na lose hahah
Mongolz’s firepower is insane just need some experience
monglz in the last major looked really good, I didn't realize complexity was that much of a favorite still crazy w for monglz
Asia really needs more slots in big events. The style works best against everyone except CIS teams…
I agree, I think that Asia is underrepresented and NA is kinda a laughing stock
worked against the cloud9 boys but yeah i get ur point
Really good video and presented well.

I wanted col to win so badly! But The MongolZ really destroyed them and mopped the floor with them. Underdog team proved themselves.
Mongolz gonna be at Katowice playoffs you heard it here first EZ
Few months ago the mongolz almost won heroic and they have won cloud 9 and other top teams too
Yeah it happens! Mongolz felt the game!
I think Mongolz did their homework great, Complexity did nothing new, it was their old overpass setup and plays
I think overall Mongolz played a better game together, individual skill Complexity is better imo
@@TheLeodyn dont think so, Elige destroying them in most of the duelsm hallzerk being better awper then theirs as well
Mongolz might gonna be one of the best teams in cs2. Great job
It was already a decently established squad, and NA had suffered some pretty big upsets
To top it off, Mongolz won their last tournament GAME 5, Round 24 with a last kill 1v1 knife
Cadian: You f*cking noobs!
the travel 30 hours but they win
great video
It wasn’t upset kids
Overpass is CT sided too so seeing them lose like 4 rounds on that side instantly was grim
That is not upset. Mongolz is actually good team. And they beging better complexity
The mongolz nowadays ranked 15 they are no longer underdogs
nothing surprising really. col thinks they are best in the game? cmon bruh 😭
COL is far from the best, NA just got that EGO ya know?
@@TheLeodyn they played really shit bro 😭
we won furia imperial mibr cloud9 into the breach gamerlegion and many strong teams
